I have to make a piece about acid (LSD)

I have some English literature creative writing homework - which is basically writing a short story or a poem.
I decided to write about a person who takes acid for the first time. I will describe his thoughts before doing the drug and his actual experience while on LSD. The book 'The Doors of Perception' by Aldous Huxley inspired me to write a story similar to his, except with LSD. I figured writing about a drug experience gives me a chance to use lots of imagery and literary techniques like symbolism to describe what the feeling is like. There has to be some narrative to my piece though so there should be a sort of ending.
My only problem is I don't have first hand experience with LSD.
So, can the people of the c0r share their LSD experiences to me as vividly as possible so I know about what images I can conjure up to write about as I have to make the piece somewhat realistic. Like what you feel in the first 5 minutes you take the drug until it wears off.
I did some research and found that while on acid, the colors look more worldly and brighter, you can have religious/spiritual thoughts and that obviously you get a long sensation of euphoria.
Also any suggestions on how to improve my story would be great. :p |

When you take LSD or shrooms you just "Get it." Everything seems perfect because everything is already perfect, you just never realized it until then. Creation, life, death, heaven, hell, relationships; they all make sense. Everything is connected.
There is a sense of freedom, I could describe it as liberation. You no longer cling to materialism. You begin to learn that you are not bound by any limitation other than the ones that you impose upon yourself.
For me, it was definitely a life changing experience. |

| I dont get these "deep" feelings about life, i just take acid to get ed up. It works. Havent taken it in years, but man there was this period of time we where getting the mad hookup and we would buy so much. The fact that it only cost 5 dollars a hit for something that would last like 12 hours was def 4dawinz |
