sooo so fun!!! Damn love is such a crazy club, was it packed in there too!!.. Whoever said it earlier .. I agree, my tune of the night was DEF Mr. Sam - Cygnes!!! frigging LOVE that song, i am 150% obsessed with it.. got to hear it at Markus, then at Love. yaaaay .
Stoneface and terminal did awwwweeesome, a nice hard bangin set, juust what i want to hear! We got to hear the New World too!.. actually i was jumping around so much my frigging earring fell right out of my ear.. i got it tho lol ;) Also got to hear the Kyau and Albert remix of Out of the Sky - LOVE IT. :)
S&T are hilarious!!! Henry was talking to me and Sam about how the TV show "king of queens" is their reference of what NYC is like, hahaha omg it was so funny. Ill post up all my pics tomorrow, i just got home due to sleeping till 4PM today on my friends fouton in the city hahah...
Zack did aweeesome too, loved it, the future yayyy :) That was my first time seeing you Zack so now im even more excited for the next time!
Anyone know who the DJ was upstairs at closing? He was really friggin good! Someone told me his name but I forgot :(
All in all a wonderful night!! And MIKE - Thank you for giving us a ride to our "garage" (shhh) hhahaha. You are the best, thank you thank you thank you!

honestly though would like to have heard these guys. they spun at rise recently so hopefully they'll be booked in philly or dc soon enough. seems like a good start for mid-atlantic |

yea, their sep08 show at rise was their second, now they just need ronski, sebastian sand, and cressida to complete the euphonic invasion :P |

Well, I was expecting a good time, and you all dilivered! wow!! Ali's set was fabulous, so we were excited from the very begining!!
Im not even really going to note on any tunes because honestly the ENTIRE night, i think there was only ONE song I was like "meh" for.
It was so great to see everyone again too!! (Kelly, where the hell were you though??? LOL)
Between Friday and Sat night we pretty much got to see everyone and that is so few and far between, so it was really nice :) <3
Some funny ass momemnts: Elyse and I were so tired and icky from Markus that we decided we wanted to go UBER casual...we were in Duane Reade and Elyse found these "I <3 NY" tees....hahah we HAD TO!
I knew SOME people might comment...but MAN!!! Wowwers! I have no idea some of the people who just wanted to have pics with the NYC girls...hahahha, then aeveryone saying "so youre not from NYC" really...how the hell did you figure it out?? hahah sad part is if we did live here, wed totally still have worn them.
Nothing and no one was funnier then Henri. When I asked Matthias what his name was the response was "Im stoneface" and he makes a big long face and points to it. hahahaha Henri explained to me how Germans know about NYC:
We watch King of Queens. He tells us whats going on. We watched it the other day and we saw that in NY people were shipping packages. Today- we watch and its raining...but that must have been earlier.
HAHAHAHAHAHA. When I appologized for having to keep asking for pics (I wanted to make sure everyone I was with got the opportunity to meet them and get a pic so i kept going back to them Friday night) He says:
Its ok...we dont know what to do most of the time if we are not DJs. We stand around and if we see camera we say "ok...CHEESE" you ask for picture we take picture. we dont care
hahahha....he was hillarious...a bit sauced...but HILLARIOUS.
waiting for our friends to leave, he couldnt seem to hold in his excitement- he RUNS over and hugs me good bye and I swear I couldnt tell if he was just SOOO happy he was leaving or if he was just trying to be funny.
Either way it was a night Ill never forget and they are two guys Ill never forget!!
Zach, you have impressed me! not that I thought for one minute that your set would be meh or bad...Its just you got right on there and threw down everything I wanted to hear...it was GREAT!!! Urban Shakedown..., i was in heaven.
As usual though, a night at LOVE for Elyse and I does not end when we walk out the door..... We always lose our car.

We walked around for like 45 minutes in the freezing cold and then finally found it. Earlier this summer when we had to walk 12 blocks before discovering that we needed to take a cab....it was ok because it was warm. The other night, not so much. HAHAHAHHA |

the face he gave us was hilarious! thomas kept making that face yesterday. It looked like he thought brooklyn was this ghetto ass place so i told him - nooo it's not like how u see on tv! Thomas then told him the next time they are down that we'll drive them to the most awesome pizza in brooklyn and then, we'll drive them to a ghetto area

These guys were fantastic. I interviwed them prior to the event and I will post it up soon ;) They were really nice guys and they did a great job behind the decks. I met a bunch of new TA's. The vibe was great the music was great. The place was packed. I would like to thank Ali & Sean for putting this together and due to the success hopefully there will be many more ;)

Write the intersection of where u parked it on ur cell phone or something. That cold was too brutal to walk around in for 5 mins. I think I woulda froze stiff after 45. Nice meeting you and Elyse :D

this EP jizzes so much goodness. Super Nature and Sidewinder (Arc in the Sky remix) were two of my fav tunes from that year. I'm going to really have to kill myself if Sidewinder got played |
