responding so late to this.. been busy, pics still coming (tomorrow tho) lol but..
1. Sam, i thought we were not going to mention our 5am walk of shame being lost in NYC wearing "1<3NY" tee shirts... only to be guided by a friendly duane reade employee... (and bouncer mike saint jules) hhahahah its all good, maybe next time someone will pick us up then!! hahaha.. *Although* YES- please let it be known our friend who lives in NYC, my walking GPS, was busy with a chick, hence our lost-ness. (Forgiven you know who you are!!!) ;) I have all my fingers and toes, ;)

This was one of a handful of trance gigs ive been to this past year and it was great..definitely recognize quite a few faces from the pictures here
although my first was sean simon and tom at triada in sept 08 and that will prob be the best introduction to trance for me by far... the more tech for my ears the better haha |

| Dam that one kid with the Led Zeppelin tshirt is really good at the strings. Love is getting some really good talent, place is really picking up steam. Def going to the JOC party next month. |

Yep, hes awesome. His name is Syphon Killer from Glowsticking.com
He has a signature one handed move that I've never seen anyone else pull off in my life.
Hes got some tutorials on his page if ur interested...

Yeah that one handed move is in one of the vids I think, ing retarded. I tried to do it back in the day but they would always smash into each other :o |

Sooo responding in this super late (I don't check the NYTA forum often!) but thanks to Love and everyone who put this together!! My first experience at Love (being in town from Toronto for the weekend) and wow :D this actually ranks up there for one of the funnest nights I've had out! The chance of scene was refreshing from being in Guvernment saturday nights (not that I'm complaining about Guv AT ALL, it was just a nice change :)) and the vibe was ridiculously awesome. I've been waiting and waiting to see Stoneface and Terminal and WOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWW!!!!!
lol I still can't get over finally seeing them :):)
I didn't read through all the previous posts, but I'm assuming there's no chance in hell that set was recorded was it....wishful thinking!
To whoever the DJ was that closed after they finished their set, THANK YOU! I was going to sit down for a minute, but you had me dancing hard till the very end!! Nice work!!! :D
I hope to be able to make it back there sometime in the future for another awesome trance event! I miss our NYC weekend of shenanigans already! :( |
