They have a forum on their website, we could go online and request our desired set times!!!.. LOL I mean im sure theres more to it involving money and the artists but their forum is kinda dead so Im hoping our voices would be heard. Edit* They do check it! Last year at the Estate they had an opener too before Randy. I hope they just have it Randy and Ferry- Straight to the point what we want!!!! :) especially considering the 2am Closing...
@ Kelly- Sam lives like 2.5 hours away from Boston :( So that still sucks for her!!!! UGH Sam u better still come, I just talked to VJ he is definitely coming too because hes moving to Seattle soon so he wants to hang out. Im sure Marat will be there as well & Ill get on Johnnys case.
@ Patrick... AH please come!!!:( I didnt forget about this Friday though dont worry, got to seee how my schedule goes this week first :) |

omg I cant believe I am missing a ferry set so close to home...grrr!! I really cant do ANY thursday parties because I really dont get outta work til late :( I will be in Boston for St. patty's day tho!! ;) |

Im not too concerned about the trip- work will suck but they will just have to deal- actually i think im going to do a half day- come in at like noon or something.
Kelly- i can not believe you wont be there!!!! :( My first ferry show too!! ugh...oh well. It must be so important for you to miss- plus he will be right in NYC two days later so you will live :) :) |

Randy: booo I know! I wanna see you as well, U impressed me at Love! If he ever plays on a weekend (or any other day except thursday) i will be there!! Like I said thursdays are really the only days I CANT go out, even in NYC....I work late thursdays and very early fridays :( |

Yea, teccchhhniicaally I am about 3.5-4 hours from my house here in crappy Worcester MA to NYC- however Sam, TRAFFIC hello! It ends up being four absolute minimum!!! (esp longer when i stop and yours or johnnys.. which is always)
And Sam, if we drive together to Ferry & randy, which we will by the way, your house to my house is 1 hour and 45 minutes and my house to boston is 1 hour and 15 minutes with traffic - This = 3 hours travel time for you my sweeety. Starts at 9pm, we need to be to VJs by 730/8 latest, so u need to leave ur house 430?!?! omg is that right. wtf ... if we need to take appropriate measures at your place of employment for this to happen, we can do so.. shh..
For those of you who do now know I have an alter ego named Anal Alan. He surfaces whenever I get anxious in traffic on the way to a show. Im sure many of you have met him before, its a bad sight... we try best to keep him at bay..
However, I have taken prophylaxis in keeping Alan at bay for this upcoming show. I was in Boston today and as I was leaving the hospital i though to myself... why dont i pinpoint THE EXACT location of the Roxy so that I dont have a heart attack on the 26th. Well I am sure as hell glad I did ...
its in the theatre district across from the wang theatre and the entrance is only one small door with a green awning above it that says ROXY in white letters... kinda small too.. I missed it on the first time around and sacrificed the gas and time to make a 2nd attempt.. hahahah
so anyways keep your eyes peeled when finding this mofo!!!
Its kinda like how you have a job interview and u go to the building the day before so your not lost... yea well I do that with trance shows instead. Especially when Randy boyer is opening.
hahahahah, any mental health workers out there? I could use some services.. and defibrillators for the show.. preferably two for me and sam since we will code on the same beat. hahahahaha. <3 |
