Question. Sorry if this has been answered.
So if I am staying at 53rd and Collins, is there a bus that goes south on Collins to the South Beach area? |

K and S both do the trick for you. click the links for those buses on the first post. you may have to walk a block or two from your hotel to the bus stop but i think thats manageable. |

Hey Flo,
Whats the Best Way to get from 5th & Washington to Nocturnal Nightclub?
Is it to take 5th & Washington on the C or K Bus to the Omni metromover bus terminal & Walk?
Take the Night Owl from the Omni metromover bus terminal back to 5th & Washington? |

yep. you can then take the metro mover (free) from the omni bus terminal and then walk like a block or two to nocturnal. this way you avoid walking several more blocks through the ghetto from the omni to nocturnal. i doubt itll run when you leave the club. but heading there you should be fine. you would get on at the omni station and get off at the eleventh street station.
hope this helps.
if anyone else has any questions, please feel free to ask as we are less than a week away. |

Maybe off topic, but what exactly "might" happen if you do end up venturing into the ghetto? Shot? Robbed?
Any stories, of walking into the "uncharted waters"? |

hmmm... theres a huge possibility of things happening. the most likely is obviously that you're going to get bothered by bums for money. some of which can be very nasty when you say no. sure you could get robbed, or shot, or run over, although it probably wont happen, i still wouldnt take the risk. |

not that far. the farthest it goes is the omni station (which is 15th street). after that it just runs one station further, but west. |

its borderline really. even if your hotel is on a nice block, 2 blocks over might be pretty scary. thats the ty part of staying in the downtown area.
during the day you might not have any problems, but as soon as the sun goes down... :nervous:
if you're gonna walk, just make sure you walk in a big group i guess. |
