| i thought the power company couldn't do that legally. i haven't paid my bill in a month and a half or so and they haven't shut off my power because it's too cold out. |

He was a World War 2 veteran and the power company shuts off his electricity cuz of an unpaid electric bill of 1,100 dollars. His house went below 30 degrees. Who you think is to blame

people who served in the war usually get benefits like a monthly check. I guess it wasn't enough to pay the bill. |

back with my old roommates we didn't pay it all winter though, had a $1200 power bill once spring came around, but still no disconnection. |

| That was on the news here earlier, they said that the limiter didn't shut his power off completely, it just stopped his power if anything more than the furnace, fridge, and a few small things were being used. The guy just had to go outside and reset the limiter (push a button) when he went over the limit, but he didn't do that. |
