No, they are blaming it on him. I mean this is a 93 year old man. His memory isn't really there anymore. He lived alone. I can't help but feel bad for him. Especially since they said his death was a slow and painful one. Obviously he should pay bills like everyone else, but this guy didn't even have an aid or anything. |

Either last year or the year before. There were a number of old people dying in Australia due not having any contact with the outside world. |

sad story :( poor man.
this is pretty bad that during winter time compagnies are able to cut off power like this or reduce it this way just because of unpaid bills .
Well maybe it sounds somewhat crazy but here during winter it's forbidden to cut off power and water for unpaid bills
but he should have got some assistance
:( |

| i love the fact that i live in a country that is not and it is against the law to cut the power in winter. |

World War 2 veteran? Oh, then lets allow him to live by other rules.
wtf does that have to do with anything? |
I don't know. WWII veterans have always been treated just like everyone else here in Brazil, and they didn't die any sooner because of that.
I think we need to live in countries with some more war experience to understand that, Nachos. Personally, I'm just as puzzled as you are, but our ignorance is so absurd it drives some of them mad, apparently, I don't think we will ever figure it out... |

| He lived a long life...probably only had a few months to a year left in him anyhow....I think the Electric Company did him a favour. |
