| psi i agree but seriously imo this is there weakest lineup like EVER. I was really hoping for NIN, Blur, or some legit bands. They are definetly adding more sahara djs/acts per gv, just gonna be a little bit. Chemical brothers? Prodigy? Orbital?????? |

totally true. if you going just for the EDM stuff, than save yourself some money and go to a rave.
last time i went to coachella, i discovered a lot of music i never thought was out there. its a really mind opening experience (thanks in part to the party favors i had). I had a swell time :D |

| I don't know what the you guys are talking about I read at least 20 names I really wanna see! Granted very few of those could strictly be classified as "electronica," but like Clovis said, Coachella ain't exactly my cup o' tea for seeing electronica. I'm definitely thinking about going now! :eyes: |

Anyone have a list of the first 2 or 3 Coachella line ups? Would be interesting to see how the lineups have progressed or changed over time. Didn't Coachella break its bread with electronic music artists at the forefront, or has it always been like it is this year?
Its good to see a mix of both, I wouldn't go for the EDM strictly, quite a few on there that are non EDM that I want to see. But I'm interested if there has been a philosophy change by the Coachella organizers, to bring more non EDM into the mix. I just hope it doesn't turn into some Wango Tango type thing you hear about on the radio over time, the Electronic Dance artists are still the main attraction for me and they seem to be getting less attention. |
