If I recall it's because before the first Coachella, Insomniac used to hold massives at the same field, so when Golden Voice took over, they did a progression to more mainstream. |

| I hate the 3 day event. There's plenty I'd like to see...again, not so much on the electronica side...but it's spread out over 3 days and it's so hard to do all 3. There's just not enough of the acts I'd like to see on 1 or maybe 2 of the days to shell out the money. |

(I'd bet Thievery and Hercules aren't playing Sahara...)
I'm sad that Groove Armada isn't a live set. Their 2002 set blew the roof off of the Sahara.
