Well, that was your choice, Eric, now let them make theirs. You see, there's something way more important than brotherhood before whorehood - it's called "seizing the moment" :)

I mean, who the hell does something like that with a bro!? Aim for their legs and seize 'em the moment you see the sissy bastard!

its called getting older. get used to it.

people change over the years. kinda blows.

marriage tends to be a big cause of that. not always; as two of my really good friends in chicago are married, and we can still hang out whenever i come into town.

but its never too late to make more friends? i don't want to say "new" friends; because you can still keep your other ones - but "more" is better...maybe you can integrate your current friends with additional ones?

I didn't miss that, but I do question this judgement since it's nowhere near objective. The possibility that religion has done something good for these people should be taken into account.

yeah I guess that makes sense... but in the case of my friend, it's a total charade. He is presenting the facade of finding god (seems like it always happens when people are either in jail or desperate). I guess he has to play that role to stay married and be in his 2 kids' lives... in a twisted way, it works because their family is together and their kids aren't without a dad, and he's too afraid to do anything stupid again (I hope). If he can repress his desires to get some strange ass, then one could look at his fake finding of god as just a means to a positive end.

I definitely prefer my old friends, which is natural. Most of the time, I don't really want to have "new friends," which seem to end up as just acquaintences if you meet them after age 25... not saying I'm not open to having new friends, but I'm satisfied with how it is now
