| Actually I had my mind made up for a Vestax mixer until the other night when a dj from the local scene convinced me to go for the djm-600. Over here though dj equipment is very expensive and I am thinking of purchasing it from abroad. In August I might be be visiting England and I'm gonna try to save up until then so I can afford to buy it. I would like to know if you recommend that I save up some extra cash and go for the djm-600 or go for a Vestax. Also I would like some help from those that live in England, I'm probably gonna be staying at surrey so is there any store there that is selling dj equipment? Also if you are aware of prices it would be most helpfull, thanx. |

well, one thing to know about the 175 is that you can't hear EQ changes in the headphones.. i think that SUCKS.
that's why i got the PCV275, i love it.
and it's way cheaper than the DJM600, which is also a very nice mixer.
another thing to know is the 600 has sampling capabilities, and the 500 doesn't, and is a couple hundred bucks cheaper. |

DJM 600...were in a league of their own, But now if your considering buying a 600, take a look at the Tascanm X9...They are twice as good as the DJM600...
Trust me. |

a league of its own?!?
i say the Vestax PCV - 275 is SO MUCH BETTER then the djm600!!!!
the sound quality on the pcv 275 is amazingggggggggg!!!!
the djm600 is what u would call a mainstream mixer (like the sony mdr v700 dj headphones), its just a "show off" mixer IMO, i say buy the vestax pcv 275 and save ur money for records, u wont regrat it
trust me |

got a news flash for you...Pioneer and Vestax are built with the same components.:haha: Its exactly the same skeleton...Its only features which make the mixers different, Its quite obvious that the DJM600's features are better.
Iv'e used them both many times, and i know from experience that the PCV 275 is overated and boring to use.
As I said B4...There is only 1 mixer to buy atm
TASCAM X9
Amazing. |

| I have a djm-600 in my studio setup right now and it really is top notch. The kills are fantastic, faders are perfect and the fx/sampling section is nice. I recommend it 100%!!!! ;) |

| I also have a DJM-600 and I love it too. I think that it was worth the money that I paid for it. I don't use the sampler too much, but the other features and general look, control and quality I feel is worth the extra money up from the DJM-500 too. The Tascam X9 is also an awesome mixer, though I've never used it--it's one of the only digital mixers on the market. This is nice if you are an audiophile and use cd decks. This way you can record without loosing any quality to DAC (digital-to-analog converter) at all! |
