couple more things to add:

(listing again haha!) :o

1. Love's staff: complete TOOLS. The bitch at the door needs to be fired or shot or both. When we came in the door, she starting YELLING at wai for no freakin reason at all (seriously....YELLING). When we told her to calm the f*ck down she started yelling even more for ZERO reason. complete b*tch that needs to lose her job IMMEDIATELY. no reason for that . She was a complete c*nt with everything that came out of her mouth. If she was a club-goer she woulda been punched in the mouth. She was rude to the other people in line as well (at least she did not discriminate like the next tool I will tell you about......)

Then, the guy in the booth. There were like 50 people in the booth at one point and he reaches around ALL of us, taps wai on the shoulder and tells ONLY her to leave because its too crowded. wtf!! He was rude about it as well, when he could have just told us *all* to leave politely. But instead, he specifically picks out wai and is rude about it, which makes NO sense to climb thru all of us to get to her on the exact opposite side.

2. Casey's girlfriend is sexy. haha good one bro!

3. Whats with the sound in the cave? in certain areas I couldnt even hear mike's set. at one point I KNEW carte blanche was on, but I couldnt here the melody (Im guessing that I couldnt hear the highs??) weird.

This was really one of the most awesome nights i've had in a long time, great to keep meeting more and more TAs as im starting to breakout of my shell a little haha.

Not cool, some drunk guido tried to start a fight with me because i was talking to his "girl" while messing around with the glowsticks. The guy gets all up in my face and i was really like HMMM, so i decided to give him a light show :wtf:
Yup, bad idea and im sure this guy had an insane urge to beat the smirk off my face haha

The crowd was a bit sketchy in my opinion, i know im not a regular yet but still ive seen enough to know what was wrong last night haha

9/10 from me

well here is my (short) review...

first off...this was my first time at love. I must say I had no trouble getting inside (bouncers were cool), the sound was great and most of the all the crowd was way diff from the pacha crowd which was a breath of fresh air for me. I managed to catch the end of DJ Eco's set. I gotta say...ill def be back to Love to catch a full set  As for Randy Boyer and Breakfast...both DJ's brought it. This was my first time catching Randy Boyer and second time catching Breakfast. I had no complains....just a great night-great music-great crowd. I understand now how people favor love over pacha anyday.

oh yea...almost didnt make it to love...our cabby must have thought our cab was a tank...cuz we almost plowed into another cab on the way downtown... :eyes:

it was nice seeing you kelly! I know there mustve been a whole bunch of other TA's there...ill muster up the courage to come and introduce myself soon enough.

Quote of the Night: "Its like we are inside an aquarium" - Some chick said this to my friend...took him to dance..drank some of his beer...and left...keeping it classy eh? :conf:

I smell racists :p And the sound guys wanted us to keep the booth monitors down. I think it's the conflicting of noise between the two areas. However, that was the first time I've been told to keep it down constantly. Hopefully something about that gets fixed.

I hear ya. The thing is, Love was never really designed to have djs play in that cave area. We came up with the idea of having djs play in there a couple of years ago, and it was just something that was unique to our own Core parties. Its not a perfect setup obviously. The problem is that when the dj's monitors are too loud, the music can be heard from the street, which can lead to noise violations, neighbor complaints, etc...thats why they are always turning the monitors down.

Best advice (for the djs at least) is to use the headphone cues on the mixer to beatmatch as opposed to the monitors. Its not ideal, but it does the trick.

glad to hear the night went well. :)

for reasons unbeknownst to me she yelled at me as soon as i got down the stairs. i told her i bought a ticket online then she started yelling at me about specifics where when etc. i stopped answering her for a moment because i should not be yelled at for giving the establishment she works for money. plus she had my driver's license look up my name. her behavior was completely unacceptable and i do agree she should be fired. i neither said nor did anything to prompt her c*ntness.

yep not nice. wasn't too offended until i told him later i didn't appreciate his rudeness and he clearly didn't give a because he was too ed out of his brains. real responsible behavior for an adult at work. the employees at that club have always been special but last night takes the cake.

you could hear it in some places but not others. i believe it had something to do with the neighbors. great sets by the guys in the cave though i made sure to stand in those areas where one could hear.

dam looks like a i missed a "interesting" night
i was very close to comming but i was a lil sick and then i got a flat tire driving home from work and had to change it in the freezeing cold and that made my cold worse

glad to hear all the dj's did their thing
as for the tranny story wow thats some funny

i got a simmilar story
like 5 years ago i was in the city drivin around with my friend
and we see this guy all over a tranny like i dunno thinking it was a girl, kissing it,touching it etc etc
so i try and tell him "hey buddy you know thats a guy not a girl"
the guy starts to charge my friends car and was madd drunk and was screaming "your just jealious, leave my woman alone!!!!!!"
then a pack of trannys came over and were talking and spit on my friends car
a friend of mine who was in the back seat rolled down the window sprayed some mace and we left lol

i deff ant talking to no trannies no more after that situation i look the other way

Hellllllllllllo!! Thank you all for coming out and showing some fantastic support. Im glad you all had an amazing night, besides the girl at the door and some weird bouncer kicking people out :(. I had a great time as well, so many fans and friends rocking out! I played my new track "No Limit" Randy Boyer & Kristina Sky ft. Cari Golden which will be coming out this month on Ultra records with remixes by Darude. The Mash-Up I did live (which I pulled out of my ass) was Stemcell - Randy Boyer & Eric Tadla vs. Rapture - Iio. Also a couple more songs I played at the end Alive vs. Champagne Supernova - Randy Boyer & Eric Tadla vs. Oasis. And I closed with Love Story - Nadia Ali (Andy Moor Dub Mix).

Thanks to all the other dj's that helped out and rocked the night proper. Brad Miller, J Eco (Good to finally put a face to your name man, see you soon in CT) and Breakfast (Good to finally hear you play buddy! Nice job). Plus all the djs that played in the Cave. Big shout out to Massive for having me play my first party with them, really hope to come back soon, it was a great experience! Hope to see you all soon, I'm playing at Room 960 on March 14th (St. Patrick's Day Weekend) in Hartford. DJ Eco will be opening up the night, CT Lasers will be in the house, and it’s going to be a sick night!!! I have an exclusive $10 reduced list for the night, so if anyone wants to get on the list just e-mail me. [email protected].

Hope to see you all soon! Make sure to check out my website http://www.randyboyer.com for all my upcoming gigs including opening up for Ferry Corsten in Boston on Feb 26th.
