Anyone been? I know it pretty popular and I have put off visiting it for sometime....but me and the man are finally ready to take the long train ride into Brooklyn if its worth it
the online menu doesnt show prices....am I gonna go broke?
how is the food and such? any recommendations, or just go straight for the steak? ;)
We def dont mind spending a decent chunk to go out but also dont want to show up and see $75 steaks with $20 cocktails or something lol. |

Don't forget to stop at the ATM: Regulars know that Luger only accepts cash and the restaurant's own credit card, which you can apply for online.
Are you drinking there? bring at least $250...it aint cheap.... |

no no, any steak house suggestion is ok! the man wants steak, so steak it is!! he has let me pick the last few times so its his turn. ;) We were actually thinking about morimoto's!!

btw I am a wine WHORE but I refuse to spend $250 on one dinner. I was thinking $150-175 which is reasonable imo. |

I've been to Ruth's Chris's Steak House and I remember it being delicious and probably expensive. My Dad took me years ago when he visited New York.
The steak was like buttah! |

$1650 bill for 4 including Sake & I ordered 2/3 of the menu. The dinner was well worth the bill & I got the menu signed by the chief as well. :) |

I'm not a steak guy but Peter Lugers is very, very good. Highly recommended. Be sure to get the bacon appetizer and tomatoes.
as for money, if i recall, it came out to about $480 including tip for 4 of us: 2 bottles of decent wine, appetizers, 2 steak for two, 2 desserts. |
