I forget who it was that told me... name escapes me at the moment.

But essentially what I was told is the rights to the track were sold (presumably for a big flat fee) so now all this ridiculous publishing money that the track generates goes to someone else. Whether it's true or false, I can't say!

Well, let's just say this: Don't believe every bit of hearsay that comes from someone else than the artist or the artist's record company, and you shouldn't repeat something as a fact if you don't know for sure.

I've got a record contract and a publishing contract. Also, in Finland you pretty much can't transfer copyrights, you can't sell them.

Let's just say this as well: the collection of publishing $ doesn't seem to be the easiest task in US.
