yeah, there are lots of underrated vsts out there that nobody talks about, but its ok, lots of trance producers like to use only z3ta, v-station, vanguard and sylenth1 for everything, ah, and some spectratonics atmosphere in the breakdown, heh... |
Didn't know half of those existed. Do you feel lost at all by having so many options to choose from? I like a few workhorses that i've learned pretty well, so when something pops up in my head I know exactly where to go and start tweaking. |

Yeah, I feel lost sometimes, I knew them after reading kvraudio more frequently, the guys there are very cool and awesome in knowledge. Sometimes somebody tell "synth x is good", so I dig more info about it to check if its really true or something Subtara style. |

:wtf: | Your list just seems little thought of, have you used all these for more than 5 minutes ? |

Yeah, except rapture. Dunno about you, calling synths like massive, gladiator or zebra2 a "pile of ".
Well, I dont want continue discussing about synths with you, I made that list for people interested in search more about them, listening some audio demos, etc, and it was obvious that I didnt expect that everybody agree with me. |

I use Sylenth1, Synth1, Nexus, ABL, Polysix and Surge
My sleeper has to be Vember Audio Surge, I find it has can make really clean and smooth sounds like a Nova, really good for razor sharp plucks and upfront bass. |

| Another sleeper of mine that gets a great deal of use but not a lot of mention is Analog Factory. Sure, its basically a ROMpler and it has very limited tweakability, but the sheer size of the sound library is unbelievable. There are SO many sounds to use, and if I find myself going to a sound from a particular synth in AF a great deal, then I usually just pick up the VST of that synth. The AF version and the preset in the synth are always exactly the same, so it makes it easy to tweak. |

Explain how their useless, or are you just being sarcastic? |

Explain how their useless, or are you just being sarcastic? | No, its just that seeing a list of VSTs people use is just useless. Earlier in this thread you see people explaining WHY they use this Sleeper VST`s and what they think they are good for.
And that is very interesting and useful to know. |

| I was just playing with predator the other day, and I discovered how amazing the thing is:eyespop: Its got a really nice warm sound, I think I might grab it to complement Massive (which has a pretty metallic sound I find) |
