you obviously have talent with the synthesis and mixdown, but this track for me felt like an Asot filler tune. very proffessional sounding. I am not a fan of the 2 min + breakdowns unfortunately.
lush pads, some robert nickson/daniel kandi ish elements in there as well.
is this going on bonzai? |

Hey labelbuddy ;),
I really like your track! Good job!
Although I think you can make more out of the impact after the break. I was expecting a really big impact, and to be frankly, it wasn't quite there, if you know what I mean.
Other than that, great job !! |

Pads sounds dissonant, nice plinky piano, i like the panned hats or whatever.
The lead reminds me of something.. ooh got it on my tongue..
Yes... Airwave - Above The Sky
Fairly clean production, maybe you could add a clap on the beat ? |

@Subtle - cheers buddy, when i was making it it actually sounded familiar to me too lol but couldnt think what it sounded like.
@danyoghia - thanks mate :) |

Hi Andy. I hope i'm able to provide some constructive feedback.
I was impressed by the production value. You're clearly very talented, as this is very clean and well produced. It does however have a certain element of ASOT filler in it, as someone else pointed out. I honestly believe you've sold yourself a little short on this one, as my comments will hopefully unveil.
Just to note, I really don't like the bassline much at all. That's personal taste though, because it isn't poorly produced or bad.
The build is excellent.
The melody left me feeling a bit dissapointed, I wanted more from it and I think you could get a great deal more from it. The pads are brilliant and well EQ'd.
I feel like the percussion is just there to fill out the track, namely after the kick-out. I think you'd benefit a great deal from adding more depth into it by creating a more complex percussive rhythm.
Hope these comments are useful. |

cheers for listening :) |
