PDR charged me $5 fee for the Harvest Festival tickets, but the service charge is still much better than the insane fee TM charges.
please keep us updated on the PDR tickets. |
I bought most of my special events (Guv) tickets through them, and Prodigy tickets from 3 years ago - do not recall any service charges, in fact I'd always ask them over the phone and they would say no, no other charges
maybe that has changed in the past year!
tickets are in, going soon :) |

As I said on Monday at Josh's - beg, borrow, steal or rent out your (lol), just BE AT THIS CONCERT |
For those that choose the latter, I have extra tickets. |

Play De DOES charge a service charge.. they don't sell tickets out of the goodness of their hearts. I've been selling tickets there for nearly a decade, and buying tickets there for 15 years.
taxes are not charged on top of the ticket... the taxes on admissions are included in the price of the tickets. Service fees are a fee the vendor charges on top of the face value of the ticket. |

yeah Evan, you were and are right :) thanks for clarifying!
they're selling $40 tickets with $3 on top for service charge
I think I was the first one today - the stack looked like 100-150 tickets |

Now, what I am curious to see and hear is WHERE DID THOSE $30/$35 TICKETS GO?!!
According to the GUV's site, the first 700 tix were supposed to cost $30, then tix from 700-1500 were supposed to cost $35, and 1500+ were supposed to cost $40.
So, what happens on the day when the sale starts on Ticketmaster for this event? The sale started with $40 tickets.
No $30/$35 tickets available at all... nobody has ever seen them, apparently.
PDR never got those tickets either (as we can see here, they only have $40 tickets)
And not only that, Ticketmaster charges $6 extra per ticket in a way of "service/convenience charges" or whatever the en bull money grab that is, while obviously NOT selling the $30/35 tickets.
So, the potential $30 ticket ends up costing $46... per person?!
FVCK THAT...
I'm boycotting this event unless I find a bunch of those first 1500 tickets for sale at some retail outlets or something... this is just bu11 ripoff.
p.s. - lawsuits against Ticketmaster's bull tactics:

oh, and I found 6 tickets on TicketsNow.com (ticketmaster's scalping website) that after all the service charges come up to $409 USD each -> http://www.ticketsnow.com/Inventory...onto?PID=793390
WOW! |

It is highly suspect. I was on the site a couple of hours after the tix went on sale, and had to settle for the $40s. |
