My ticketmaster ticket I bought a few hours after they went on sale was $35.
With all the fees, 43.25
I don't give a fcuk over the fees. It's convenient, I can buy them the minute tix go on sale to get good seats, and I can pick them up at Upper Canada Mall. Not worth flippin out over just a few bucks. As a student with limited income I would understand though. If you're working ft and still flippin out, you need a new job. If you rent out your , it's free. |

Aj nothing wrong with saving here and there
especially since $5 extra they charge over PDR is for absolute bollocks - in this case I prefer the store, just out of principle

You got it... because you can... those who enjoy living downtown can do that... 905ers don't have that extra convenience. |

I know many people that bought the morning they went on sale and got $30 and $35 tickets.
as for the price of tickets after service fees, welcome to 2009. Most concerts cost $40 to start. If you were at a concert at the ACC you'd be paying $40-50 + service fees for nosebleeds.
$43-48 for one of the most prolific dance goups of the last 20 years in only they 2nd Toronto appearence in almost a decade is a small price to pay IMO. And you KNOW it's going to be an insane show. People are still talking about the last one 3 years ago FFS! :p
If i wasn't getting in for free, I wouldn't think twice about paying. |

I'm not saying anything about the quality of the show or anything (I mean, come on, it's Prodigy)...
Heck, I don't even give a about the price that much... but it's more of a principle - if you say you're gonna do something (offer X tickets at Y amount) don't pull it off as a publicity stunt of some sort while pulling them off the market as soon as you sell out a few dozen and then start charging fees thru the nosebleeds (as you so nicely put it) for the remaining tickets.
I wouldn't mind paying $50, if the tickets went on sale for $50 and the service charge was like $1-2 or something. But fvck that Ticketmaster!
PDR it is... |
