The same??
Taiwan and China are totally different when it comes to labour quality and especially in electronics where it matters most. If you've been to the countries you would rather buy from Taiwan than China. And its fact that Taiwan quality is better due to much much higher wages paid and the government at hand.

Taiwan and China are two totally different countries in every way.

Anyway.. anybody got an idea of easy changing of a crossfader on those new Behringer mixers?? The old ones looked like easy access..

I found the DM3001X has the individual pfl meters as well. The only thing the Behringer has that I don't is the BPM counter. I might have paid a little more, but that's 2 times now I've heard about problems with the behringers, and they havn't even been making htem long enough to be 2 years old!! I trust my numark, I've used them for years with no problems.

how much did you pay for it (and when did you buy it?)
DJ-Kuza
I paid 320 canadian for the numark DM3001X. It's normally around 350 canadian and then taxed. The Behringer is like 320 + tax so you spend about 50 bucks more for the numark. It's got the kills, pfl meter you can assign to each channel (if you are recording) and it's heavy as hell. I bought it 3 days ago and sold me 4 year old DM1001X to my roommate. It's still working great after all that time. Switched hands 3 times, and it was cheaper than either of these other 2.

i have found numark mixers to be great quality. i have 2002x (ing killer cept no kill switches and individual volume led's) and my buddy has 3002x (newer modle with kills and very smooth handling). i got mine cheap too.

Do you know any promoters in QC?? I wouldn't mind getting a gig at a rave up there. It's one of the most beautifull cities in Canada. I was there for the winter fest this year.
