It is pretty strange that this is the only party (pretty much) that tickets aren't on sale for yet...Maybe it's not 100% confirmed yet or something is why they aren't on sale, don't know.
Would be awesome if they just moved this party for Tuesday night @ Space, found it pretty strange there isn't anything going on there Tuesday or Wednesday night...

Haha, now I remember why I don't post much on here anymore, since people seem to jump down your throat the first chance(s) they get, pretty funny actually.

Although it sucks that there are so many trance parties on Thurs...this has got to be the best IMO...A @ B with the Ajuna Beats crew and Ferry don't really lineup with a proper Markus set and the other bangers on that list...
How is Parkwest though? I hear it sucks.. |

Also curious to hear about the venue.
What about set times as this will be key for me. If Markus doesn't play til 4 that's gonna screw me up for the terrace next door. Anybody with any info? |

Here's just a little about a few of the performer's for this massive WMC 2009 event:
**Markus Schulz
Over the past three years, Markus has crossed the globe on an almost constant basis. From Australia to Russia and as far away as China and Trinidad. Along with playing his hometown of Miami. Markus was also found in Ibiza at his summer residency at Amnesia; The Two Tribes Tour in Australia and New Zealand; Tomorrowland in Belgium; Mysterland and Trance Energy in The Netherlands; Nature One in Germany; Distant Heat in Jordan as well as clubs and in Kuala Lumpur, Romania, Czech Republic, Mexico, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Slovakia, UK, Boston, Los Angeles, New York and the list goes on.
While some artists might find it hectic putting together an album with so much going on, Markus thrives on the inspiration he finds in his two bases Miami and Berlin and gigs everywhere in between. I can't do one without the other - playing for the crowd makes me excited and gives me ideas for getting into the studio. When Im in the studio, I cant wait to play out what Im making and seeing people react to it the processes feed off each other."
**Cosmic Gate
Over 10 boundary-pushing years, Nic Chagall and Bossi have evolved Cosmic Gate into one of the most creative and highly-sought-after electronic music acts in the world. Revered uber-producers, their musical acumen has seen them become long-term favourites of the trances Big 5 DJs with their 3 hugely-received albums transporting anthems like Body of Conflict, I Feel Wonderful, Analog Feel, or the classics Exploration of Space and Fire Wire to the dancefloor. As DJs, their kinetic, blood-pumping live performances are seen by hundreds of thousands of club and festival goers annually. Playing a 100 nights every year, its this ever-visible club presence that saw them reach their highest position to-date on the DJ Mag Top 100, landing at No.62 in 2008.
**Wally Lopez
Pioneer of House music in Spain, he soon began touring the major clubs in the world, sharing the decks with celebrities such as Paul Van Dyk, Paul Oakenfold, Pete Tong, Sbastien Leger and Mark Knight.
Considered to be the most internationally renowned Spanish DJ and producer, he has played on the five continents and taken part in electronic music festivals such as Creamfields Liverpool, Global Gathering, Exit Festival and Weekend Dance.
**Michael Myers
As a member of legendary East Coast Production Company Local 13 & TETM, and as the DJ credited with founding Philadelphia's trance music scene, Michael Myers has always been one of the most dedicated pioneers of the Eastern Seaboard's dance music community.
An intensely serious minded and driven individual, Myers was first exposed to techno in 1992 via the music of renowned DJs Josh Wink and Frankie Bones. Although Myers began his career behind the tables spinning hip-hop records, he quickly discovered that electronic music was his calling. Drawn to the melodic tones of progressive trance, Myers found it to be "more intricate to mix than people would think it's a style of music that is almost a pop format." If you are a local in the surrounding Philadelphia market and want to hear Michael Myers over and over, well that's very easy he is the resident 1st saturday dj every month at Lounge OneTwoFive in philadelphia.
**DJ YAN
Since solidifying his name and reputation in Philly, DJ Yan has traveled all over the US, playing alongside industry greats like Judge Jules, Tiesto, Josh Wink, Robbie Tronco, Peter Bailey, Oscar G, Richie Santana, John Creamer, Jonathan Peters and many more. Anyone who has experienced his sets first hand will tell you that its DJ Yans ability to read the crowd that truly sets him apart. Every electrifying set sends the crowd into an explosive uproar wanting more. In 2008, Yans talent and popularity has garnered him a contract with the local management company Third Eye Talent Management (TETM).
More details to come! But as of right now, what else do I need to say other than this is going to be a night to remember! |
