Sucks that I had to leave early but the TA vibe was weak
But all I can say is....
LAME!!!
The TA crowd was in full suck.
Arnej comes on and I'm ready to vibe to his set. I look around and I see the majority of the crowd are TAs, and they're just standing there, bumming the vibe. Moments when its pure 'put your hands in the air', or clap on the song you just fail to produce. 60% of any trance show is the vibe, and being in a club with mainly TAs is not a good vibe.
Don't get me wrong, it was a sick set by both DJs. The DJs didn't ruin the night, you guys did.
You know why clubs pay thousands of dollars for laser systems? So it doesn't like like a retarded kid got a hold of a laser pointer. Maybe if you guys were all tripping balls then I could understand a kid going into seizures with a laser pointer. You didn't even make an attempt to coordinate the laser to the song. It was on seizure mode the whole time. If I was spinning and some douche bag was standing up front shining a laser pointer on my deck I'd deal with that .
Vola wasn't very impressive. Its great that you guys brought sied in and are trying to promote the scene, but I'd never go there to kick it for no reason.
Oh and some drunk idiot smashed my foot. Who the hell was that fat 40 year old loser dancing around like a jack ass? Man that guy had a serious B.O. problem.

I always find I stay on the sideline with comments like this, but this time I'm going to step up an defend the honour of the TA's that were there.
Ya.. a few times some would slow down, but give 'em a break! We were dancing for such a long time, especially when the tunes were (at least to me) so good! The "douche bag" your referring to was Oz having a great time with my laser. The DJ wasn't freaking out when he got hit a few times, so I don't know what your problem is. It's something that happens so rarely, if at all, that they can brush it off as a bit of fun. Later Oz gave my laser to his lighting guy to dick around with it, which I thought looked cool. I'm sure others liked it too.
You gotta take a chill pill and stop being so serious about clubbing, otherwise don't go. We're all there to kick to the tunes and have fun, but when comments like yours come up... well it just makes you appear as a grumpy old .
That's just my two cents worth. BTW it was great putting a face on the ppl of TA! I hope I made a good enough impression in person that I can call you all my peeps! :)

my review.. very short... got there while stilez was spinnin.. very good warm up and dance floor empty but I believe it was just because everyone was all chating.. had a great time see sooo many familiar faces! I think the sound was really good in Vola and no sirens :) Oz .. buddy you had a good night!! Arnej ....what can I say.. I loved every min of his set and believe i was dancing with his mom at one point.. haha, Sied impressed me and really couldn't ID anything because he is new to me and quickly liking his style!!!
