i don't eat friend chicken and my mother doesn't either...instead of collard greens we eat something called sukuma wiki which you can either use collard greens or kale...much less fattening though. can't think of the last time i even had corn bread, its tasty but not one of my favs.
either way my little african mother is not someone to mess with, i've always been slightly protective because douche bags in stores or whatever just try to ignore what she's saying because she has an accent. when i was younger she'd make me say stuff because in certain situations people hear an accent and tune out. that pisses me off |
