I do NOT believe in god.
I HATE religion. That causes war out there.
Where do you think nationalism and discrimination came from??
I don't know what the hell made people believe in it in the first place.
Religion is mind-control.
Only weak people, with low self confidence are religious, because they do not believe enough in their selves.
They need something to control their life. They're obviously not capable of doing that on their own.
Drugs won't hurt you as much as religion.
PS.
I hate religion, NOT religious people!
Peace. |

I respect the believes of religious people, but I hate religion in itself. Religious people like priests and stuff are really forcing you towards religion. It has always been that way and it worked years ago, but not anymore. Church should concider that it's not at it's most populour years anymore and lay themselves back from society. The only way to get more people into the church is by letting them choose for themselves. Now you become an official member of the curch when you are not even capable of thinking. Once you are capable of thinking and you concider the whole bible story, it really is just another comic book. Evolution and the big boom make much more sence then a higher power. Of course: there is no explanation for outer space and things like that, but you don't solve such a problem by creating some imaginary person or a god. Outer space is an interesting thing to think of, but it is also something untouchable an unexplainable. Perhaps it is best to leave it this way.
Hmmm.. do I still make sence? Or am I drifting away?
Anyways, I voted a big NO |

I dont believe in mr jezus or mr allah.. or whatever.. but i do believe there is "something" (probably a clone of me)
And its okay to believe in god .. as long as it gives you streangth but to fight wars cause of your religion is REALLY REALLY ED UP!
Thats my opinion so i couldnt vote cause my view on it wasnt included ;) |

i voted a "no", although i believe in myself... so there u have it: god works in mysterious ways :)
u pplz giving off at religions havent really thought about em...
if u look at the older writings from, for example, the old testemony (or whatever its called in english), there is the good way & the bad way, u can choose which way ull go... in every person there is evil (totally true), so its a tough choice... i, for one, have totally chosen the bad way, but i like it :)... nowadays, the christian religion has changed into smth almost the opposite of the old testemony, and thaz smth i find a VERY bad thing...
other religions i dunno much about, except for buddism, i find this a great kinda religion, cuz ur allowed to do like anything, but there is only one way to reech internal life, now i dont need internal life, so i just screw around a bit & see what the future will bring...
so all religions r NOT bad, time &stuff screwed up most of em... |

This statement is not true, and not appreciated either.
It indicates that you find people who don't believe short-sited or whatever. I have thought about religion, and I know you can point out true parts in the bible (like the thing you said with the fact that there is evil inside of every person), but you can also indicate true things in books like The Shining from Steven King (just a name of a book that crossed my mind). If that book was written like 2500 years ago and the author was unknown, it might be possible that people believed in symbolic gestures from that book now. The whole bible just doesn't make sence.
I respect the religions of different people, just don't tell me that it's the only right way of thinking/living. I believe in myself, and that should be enough.
Cogito ergo sum (or something like that)

I voted a big yes...
...A lot of people aren't looking at the big picture when they are looking at this. People speak of the writings of Stephen King and Wars, and discrimination. They are all justifying these things without Christ in there life. If people were to totally believe in God, they would see that these wars are examples...some of what to do, and others of what not to do. The writings of Stpehen King did not come 25oo years ago, they came into todays times. People have to start seeing that everything is done for a reason and everyhting is done by God's Will. Many things that people believe (Drugs, Music, Technology) are all extremely okay, if one were to read the bible it makes mention to all of these. And what it boils down to...is that everything is okay for a human as long as it doesn't make you drunk, make you a gluton, and as it is not in any way hurting your body as in suicide. This is all stated in the King James version of the bible and the writings if John Calvin, and the Epistles of Paul. If everyone would just follow the Golden rule and treat everyone like themselves then everything would be fine, but there are those few evil people out there that drag others down with them and away from Christ. Thanks |
