2. What do you usually do before you go to bed? (Read, watch TV, listen to music, talk on the phone)
Internet or talk on the phone.
3. Do you have a part-time job? If so, how many hours do you work in a week?
Yes. Hours vary on volume.
4. How many hours do you spend in class in a week? How many hours do you study for on your spare time?
13 hours of class/wk
40+ hours/wk studying
5. What other extra-curricular activities are you involved in? How much time do you spend on them in a week?
Gym 3-5 times/wk, 1-1.5 hours/session
Volunteering at the International Student Center 5-10hrs/wk
6. Do you find that the amount of sleep you get overall, affects your academic performance?
Yes, but I normally get a good amount of sleep.
7. If you had to blame your lack of sleep to one reason, would it be due to poor time management or a way too busy schedule?
When I don't get enough sleep, it's usually due to high stress levels. A high amount of stress will prevent me from sleeping even when I give myself enough time to sleep.
8. When you underperform in school, are you prone to blame having too many things on your plate or do you recognize when you’ve procrastinated and did not perform to your fullest?
I usually blame it on not studying effectively enough. I don't really procrastinate that much anymore and I rarely/never under-perform because of lack of sleep. I put the utmost importance in getting a good night of rest the night before an exam, presentation, etc.
9. Do you find that lack of sleep has affected your health?
Nope. I get enough sleep.
10. Have you ever been diagnosed with a sleeping disorder?
No. |
