Probably the worst possible advice. Good advice to look smart, but also good advice for making you look like a dick. I have a kid in one of my classes who sits front and center and does this, and I think I'm about on the same level with him, but he raises his hand for EVERYTHING. Classes are for learning, not doing everything possible to raise your grade. By answering every question before the slower people in the class have even digested the question, you're robbing them of their education imo. I only generally answer the questions no one else is getting. Still makes you look smart and like you know your , but without being an obnoxious prick about it. |

So the stupids stay stupid, and you make yourself look like an over-achieving pedantic . Since the entire notion of genius is a comparative concept, I'd say that plan has a pretty high chance of success. |

You mean something like:
"Could you again explain the concept behind xyz, I didn't quite understand it yet?"
"Sure, I'll try to speak slowly and use shorter words this time."
or maybe
"Are you an idiot?" |

| I have always been fond of "Is that a serious question?" because it often creates an uneasy silence immediately after, as though I am saying something profoundly defamatory. |

| Whats the presentation on? It's all about how you present the content. Try to sound as if what you're saying is fascinating. |

Rofl, valid point. Now that I think about it, thats a ing great idea if the class is graded on a curve :p |
