this was one fun night. i got there pretty early...probably one of the first ppl there..since it was only like 10pm. lol. anyways, from the opening set to the last, the music was really good. you got a taste of different styles of trance, that not for one second, i was bored. again, mad ups to blurr and beaver. i invited my coworkers who have been out of the trance club scene for years, really liked their set. shah was awesome, especially with the live vocals from adrina. yay, i got to take a picture with her! luckily i got to shake Shah's hand and compliment him on his weekly online show. all in all, another good night with friends and good music.

RECORD THE DAMN CROWD...pan over. Do something.
Like we want to sit there and stare at at a DJ a whole track. I want to see the atmosphere.

This was my fourth stop of the night and definitely THE BEST! OUTSTANDING MUSIC! The people I was with are usually total house heads and 5 mins after we were there they started calling all the people we left behind to come meet us at Mighty.
The crowd...all my loved ones were there. This one brought people outta the woodwork.

My recorder I had running recorded everything crystal clear. I've transferred the first half of the mix to 320.... So, I'll probably edit everything and up the sound a bit since the autoleveler
toned it down so it wouldnt peak at all during anyones mix.
Once I get the final say to post all of our mixes, ill put em up here for everyone.
Right now, going through about 7 hours of video clips and segments from this night, and Adrina's vocal performances, including some crowd footage.
(sorry in advanced to you if you were screamin and singin, you probably were captured on video, either by me or someone else in my crew who had a camera this night, Arty was walkin around filming too)
Those of you who been sending me emails and checking out this post, ill email details to all of you on video and the mixes soon also.
A future note to myself would be to up the exposure or use some other type of way to capture the crowd since Mighty is dark.

Ya, possibly. I do have alot of work ahead of me and just getting to transfer everything from the hi-8's I had in 2008. The sound clarity is perfect, the video if you were to rate probably would be a 7-8, in the daytime videos I shot would rank a 9-10.
Theres alot of editing that needs to be done, especially all the footage we shot outta lovefest.
The HD 1080 recordings are going to help since everything is all digital now, and I dont have to sit around to transfer everything from tape to DVD.
Anyone else interested, please do lemme kno.

Awesome night, even though I got there a bit late. The reviews pretty much sum it up - great sets from Shah and Taj. Never been to Mighty before, I like the venue. And oh yeah ...was that a real parrot just chilling at the DJ booth? What was up with that guy?:haha:

completely agree!!! I had tickets to see Above & Beyond but I gave them to a friend and decided to come see Shah instead... Definitely worth it!!!
