in all seriousness, i agree to some extent that people in the west aren't free, i mean, it's true that we all are slaves to money and power, but i think that the reason for this is just that it's what we love... people can't HANDLE freedom! we all need a crutch of some sort, all need a system of support, we're not above the human world, we're the creators of it (including all the fkd up that goes with it)
enough of that bull though, when it comes down to it i'd prefer to be a slave to money and sex than to an ex-bank-robbing psycho, whose only positive attribute to the world was his amazing facial hair... and even then, he just tried (and failed) to mimic nietzsche's god-like mo'.. :p
oh and about poland, i think you'll find that there are mixed feelings there atm... communism there was corrupt, but the people i've talked to often look back at it pretty positively because at least everybody was poor... now they have the polarity that can accompany capitalism, where the poor are despicably poor and the rich horrendously wealthy.. :(
at the end of the day every system is ed because every system is run by people. marxism was a great concept, but it never was practiced, just like actual capitalism was never practiced, and just like true religions are never practiced.
at least with capitalism we avoid mass genocides and minority executions (as much as we can) :p
