yeah it is a card game. Basically you play the 52 cards and deal them around the table. red 10 is the highest card and closes a set, so for example someone stars like 2, then someone else plays 3, then 4, or whatever...the one who gets rid of his cards first is president, second is vice president, third is neutral, 4th is vice 5 is ..so it does takes some strategy iknowing when to drop what or when to start with what in order to get rid of your cards..then you re deal and the vice trades his highest card with the lowest card of the vice president and the trades his two highest cards with the president.
there are also some drinking rules attached to some of the cards that get thrown in, but these vary so im not going to post them. |

for kings, as far as i can tell everyone plays it differently. the rules i was taught with
deck is shuffled. each person takes a card when its their turn. each card means something different
1 - take one finger...of your drink
2 - two fingers
3 - nominate someone else to drink 3 fingers
4 - toilet master. who ever holds the most current 4 controls who can use the bathroom. this person loses this right when a new 4 is picked up
5 - make a rule. any rule. like, no using names, no swearing etc. this rule is cummulative
6 - word association. one person starts. first person to it up drinks
7 - person on either side drinks
8 - waterfall. everyone starts drinking at the same time. person with the card can stop whenever. everyone else in line cannot stop drinking till the person behind them stops.
9 - nose master. who ever holds the most current card, can, at any time, touch their nose. last person to do it, drinks (like musical chairs). this person can do this as often as they want, but only until a new 9 is picked up
10 - immunity. from everything
j - red person to the left drinks. black = right.
q - medusa. only one medusa at a time. if anyone looks medusa in the eyes, they have to drink
k - every king that is picked up, everyone puts 1 finger of their drink in a centre goblet. the person who picks up the 4th king drinks the whole thing. this is the end of the game as well
oh, and we call it Kings Goblet, but its pretty much the same game |

beer hockey. (here's something fairly accurate from urbandict. although i'm sure there's many rule variations since ppl usually add their own)
A drinking game in which participants have a can (or bottle) of beer in front of them and each take turns spinning a quarter. Whoever spins the quarter calls out the name of one of the players, everyone except for the person who's name has been called covers their beer with no more than 2 fingers. The chosen person then attempts to flick the quarter and hit an opponents beer. If the beer is hit, everyone takes their beer off the table (suds off the table) and the person who hit the beer spins the quarter, during the duration of spin the person whos beer was hit must chug their beer (during this any player can attempt to keep the quarter spinning). If the drinker finishes his/her beer whilst the quarter is spinning they can inact "instant revenge" by slaming their empty beer can on the quarter. Whoever last touched the quarter must drink in the same quarter spinning fashion.
If one hits more than one beer in one flick, they are then "on fire". When one is on fire they can hit the quarter whenever they please even if their name isnt called. This continues until the on fire person misses a shot.
Some rules-
1. You have only 3 tries to get the quarter spinning on your turn, if you fail to do this your beer goes in the penalty box (center of the table) for one turn, during that turn you cannot block your beer.
2. In order to successfully inact Instant Revenge your beer MUST be empty (anoyone can challenge the emptyness by test shaking the can) and MUST land on top of the qurter trapping it underneath the recently killed beer.
3. You may not block your beer before a name is called, or you brew will be put in the penalty box.
4. No touching or moving your beer during active play. Penalty- One drink or penalty box
5. If you do not take your suds off the table when a beer is hit you must take a drink.
6. If you spill your beer for whatever reason you must "Zamboni" the spilled drink, which is placing your mouth to the table and sucking it all up.
7. Get wasted |

/ is pretty cool if you have a large group playing.
You all sit in a cirle, and go around counting upwards one at a time, but any multiple of 3 is not said, you say '' instead, and '' for any multiple of 5.
So you'd go around: 1, 2, , 4, , , 7, 8, , , etc.
Whoever stuffs up has to neck some of their drink or do a shot.
Best chain we've ever managed was 7 people getting to 47 :wtf:
Then there is 'Celebrity'.
This needs to be played with beer/alcopops.
First person picks the name of a famous person (rules can be tweaked to include fictional characters/cartoons characters/etc as you wish)
The next person then needs to say another, but whose first initial matches the last initial of the previous name.
So Chuck Norris can be followed by Natalie Imbruglia why can be followed by Isla Fisher, etc
No names can be repeated in a round, and people with a single name (Maddona) or dual initials (Mickey Mouse) cause the order of play to reverse.
Whilst thinking, you have to continually down drink, hence why beer/cider/alcopops are required. |

yea the consistency of the rules doesnt matter from game to game. the end result is the same :toothless
this was what we played if i remember:
2 - pick someone to take a sip
3 - you take a sip
4 - girls drink
5 - guys drink
6 - word association. one person starts. first person to it up drinks
7 - everyone drinks
8 - you and another person of your choosing drink
9 - rhyme. you start a word, and go around in a circle naming rhymes. whoever can't must drink.
10 - story. you start with 3 words, next player repeats and adds three more. whoever forgets a word drinks.
j - make a rule, whoever breaks it drinks.
q - question master. whoever draws a queen is the new question master. if they ask someone a question and the person answers, that person has to drink. (this is a beast later in the game)
k - same as above. pour some of your drink into a cup in the center. last king drinks the whole cup. (ours had beer, wine, vodka, liquer, and some other in it. it was epic.)
a - waterfall. as mentioned above. |
