But at the end of the day, while PVD is getting caught up in semantics and interviews about what genres and subgenres there are, there are little kids in Germany, Holland, Poland, Argentina, and the USA doing what he does a lot better than he does.

very true!:)

It's a matter of semantics. If it is in fact electronic music, then his music is TY electronic music lol.

I went to see armin at roseland recently and the he played was no doubt all trance, and all sounded the same to me... pure garbage. Set was nothing like what he played at McCarren Pool last summer.

This year was a lot better than last. Some great tunes were played and by the end of the night the place was going nuts. No idea how you didn't enjoy yourself.

I'll be honest here, I'm guilty of producing in the style he was talking about but really he can't be serious... i enjoyed doing it and loved every single song that I've finished and shared with some of the guys on this forum.

But i have to agree with him in the sense that the style he is talking about is getting a bit stale and it really needs a revamp. I saw that coming in the about december and personally i started working on a lot of different and just interesting new ideas. I see a few people who even posted in this thread that did different stuff then what was out there and it worked out so i kind of thought i could follow that same trail.

But yeah i have to agree with a previous poster, for pvd there really isnt anywhere else to go but down at this point, but at least he is fighting it haha.
