| I think if its all seperate threads and everyone posted here instead of promotion forum it would get cluttered here. But the feedback in the promotion forum is shady, part of the reason why I dont post my music there, but it would be good to have a thread where the people who are active here could post music here to get some critique. If all of it was kept in one thread like the post your setup thread, it might work? This forum doesnt move fast enough to not be able to handle a single major thread. |

Anyway what im really gettin at is the thread is too quiet. Have you seen it pages and pages of tracks with 0 feedback. You guys on here are the only music people I know with the technical knowledge required to give a producer feedback. Without the feedback on here its hard to develop. When i post on myspace people say wow ur amazing i love it etc etc but its people who dont care for mix quality etc. |

Why dont you do something about it then, post in those threads with 0 posts.
If u post to others they will post back in yours.
Give 10 people feedback and you might receive 5 back. |

| Garageband.com has a system where you review 20, and you can get yours reviewed for free or else you pay...20. They do have a trance section, so maybe give that whirl? |

| there needs to be a rule in the music promotions area where you can't submit a thread until you've commented on 4. So for every track/thread of your own that you post you have commented on 4 other peoples. too many people just give a about their own stuff and not others so that section has gone down the tubes. |

Then maybe you should spend your time there commenting others instead of complaining about people not commenting. ;) |

Its a good idea, but wouldnt work in practise.
Everyone would just post random comments such as "nice track" "good job" etc |
