^5 bro, i used to listen to his sets religiously and copy his transitions when i first started getting into EDM- that guy taught me how to mix, indirectly. and the entire "reflections" LP is packed with excellent productions. |

finally! my favorite dj of all time returns to chicago...Not a big fan of the congress, but Im there for sure for Paul...Benassi as the opener too? niiiiccceeee.....:toocool:
Quick anecdote: I was strictly a house only DJ back in the day till the first time I saw PVD at club 950 when I had just turned 21 back in like 1996 for 10 bucks (damn Im old now). That night changed my life musically and my love for those beats began. Ive seen him 10+ times and out of all the live DJ's and acts I have seen, he NEVER disappoints. Anyone remember the show at the Riviera back in july of like 2002? It was hot as in there, the air was broke or something, but that was the best set I have ever seen by anyone hands down. God, I wish I could get a recording of that set. Anyway, I digress....cant wait for the man to return! :D |

it's pretty huge. last year richie hawtin played and the place didn't even fill up. only $15 though huh? figured it'd be more like $30 |
