I won't say this necessarily as far as glowsticks go...as long as they are on ropes, because I've seen peeeps who just love doing shows with glowsticks on ropes before, but if they are in hand or are on your fingers, get lost.

This sounded ruder than I meant it to sound. I haven't been to Vanguard since October and I am just curious as to what Vanguard's current policy is. No one has given me a straight answer yet. |

Amen. I expect to see this at all ages events, but not at 21+ clubs. I've seen bouncers confiscate them at the front door a few times, but some do get through on the dance floor and its completely up to security from there. And, if you're considering bringing glowsticks on ropes, they're getting taken away for sure since the dancefloor gets packed and you're more than likely going to injure someone doing so. |

i really want to go but I'm not sure if I'll even be in town, so I don't want to buy a presale if I cant make it, and I can't afford door price, so it looks like I'll be sitting this one out. :(

Nah, you didn't come off rude. Just direct. Sometimes I have this issue where I feel the need to be a big mouth and give my opinion...I find myself getting annoying doing that sometimes after I've done it, hehe. So I know I drive smoe other peeps on here (like gypsygirl lol) nuts too. And those who are tired of treating LA like it's my biznatch after being spoiled living in the Bay Area with its scene (people) and recently moving down here. I gotta stop myself before someone punches me in the face. :) |
