Tonight from 830-930pm turn off those lights and have some fun by candlelight, flashlight with your friends!
Some ways to enjoy Earth Hour:
1. An hour in the dark with someone special......giggety!
2. Telling stories around a flashlight
3. Drunken antics in the candlelight
4. Bonfires
5. Star gazing
6. Exploring the neighbourhood with flashlights
7. Playing hide and go seek!
8. Go camping in your living room or build a fort
9. Shadow puppets
10. Bonding with your family/friends in a different way :)
Feel free to add some ways to enjoy Earth hour here |

| 11. Turn the heat up to 106° F, open the windows, do 3 loads of laundry (with hot water of course), open the fridge and freezer doors, put dinner in the oven, run a burn-in test on both computers, and play white noise through the stereo at maximum volume, all while sandblasting lumber and drilling several holes in the wall in order to install new shelving. |

| YAY! Let's all release even more greenhouse gasses, CO2, carbon monoxide and hundreds of toxic gas emmissions and carcinogen particulates by all of us burning candles at the same time! Woohoo! |

Earth hour is marketing genius. But an environmental non item.
Its funny how gullible people can be though. |

I will be celebrating earth hour by unleashing a massive fart.
This deadly seeping gas will have the power of a Darth Vader force choke.
So stay away from me during earth hour |

| I will have the entire 46th floor of Commerce Court West lit up like a goddamn christmas tree, as that's where I'm studying & I don't give 2 s about the Earth when I've got a securities exam on Monday. |

It is... and I love it
It is all about awareness.
People who think that 1 hour will change things are gullible... but if it gets some people thinking about conserving energy on a daily basis... mission accomplished |

What really gets people thinking about conserving energy is having to pay an electricity bill, which, if you've been reading the news lately, is something that our politicians have positioned themselves firmly against.
Savings from earth hour per year: < 1 MWh
Savings from separate billing: > 200,000 MWh (so far)
Just sayin'. |

... but seriously... I would like to do all of the above with the OP :) ... it's like a family day... It's a happy hour or like an hour of silence when someone dies at the same time.
So yeah... the point is to just relax and enjoy it. |
