I hate that.

I think a world revolution that destroys all the worlds governments and puts them under the antichrists one world government is long overdue.

Anyone wanna revolt with me? But it can't be a violent revolt, that would be illegal.

Alternatively does anyone have a reliable US based proxy server?

It has nothing to do with propaganda, you ing moron. :stongue:

Well that was clever I guess.

Pretty decent finale. There was still some things left open that I wish they had tied up, but 2 hours is only so much time.

I liked the Carter/Green thing... but I agree, there could have been a lot more closure to some of the storylines... like I expected Aussie dude to adopt that girl. At least Sam and Gates seemed at a natural ending.

Too much focus on Gates and the patients in this one though.

Ah well.

great theme song.

i learned how to play it on the piano.

ER was great when it first came out; and the following seasons as someone else had mentioned . it was the cast that had great chemistry together.

but i dunno, i just lost interest in it over the years.

ER is my favorite TV show, but given I don't watch television very often I've missed a big chunk of seasons.

There is just something compelling to me about seeing a bunch of people continually depressed all of the time (it makes the good moments seem even that more powerful as well).

yeah, its really hard to make that up because ER is so deep and complex.

Meh - don't get me wrong, good show. But the writing of Aaron Sorkin and John Wells is terribly hard to beat.

Also, pkc... I'm sorry there aren't aliens and spaceships, but good drama doesn't need to have make believe to be compelling. ;)

Aaron Sorkin's dialogue is fantastic, and his shows are compelling and interesting, but David Simon's are just ing real. After finishing the wire a month or so back, I watched Generation Kill, and god damn. Both are closely scripted after real life events, and David Simon does an amazing job of not just getting the story right, but getting the people who were actually there involved. Snoop in the wire wasn't an actress at all, thats how she really speaks and acts, the guy who plays the minister that Bunny talks with, he was the real life Barksdale, and Bunny's #2 at the police station was I believe the real life Landsman, the Hat trick thingie Bubbles did early on was something that actually happened, hell a lot of the stuff actually happened. A number of the minor criminals in the show had been arrested by a number of the minor cops in the show, in real life. Seriously, if you haven't seen it, go rent the series, it's fantastic.
