I feel bad for all of you who couldn't make it out to the sheer epicness (my new word of the week) that was WMC. I'll have a link to pics sometime this afternoon. For all you techno heads talking up Marco Carola, you were spot on! Oh, and check out Ida Engberg if you have a chance. She tore the roof off SSFD Sunday morning. One of my top 5 sets of the conference.
My head is swimming right now. I slept 15 hours Sunday night/Monday morning and it didn't help. Landed at LAX around 10:00pm last night, home by 11:30 (luggage, flyaway, etc) and was at work at 7:45 this morning. I should have taken today off as well.

Ida Engberg's set@ SS4Degenerates was the best of the conference.
My other favorite sets were at Nikki Beach for the Juicy Party with Kaskade, Stonebridge, and Robbie Rivera. Stonebridge and Rivera were pretty amazing. You can't beat the atmosphere at Nikki Beach.
3rd best set: Carson & Galestian @ Kung Fu Sushi Lounge at Catalina Hotel(Minimal Is Maximal)on Saturday morning 2am-5am :tongue2

Rizo, it was awesome meeting you at the Leeeeky Tikki party. Too bad we missed each other at SSFD. Ida Engberg's set was uningbelievable. I left the party around 1:30 after being there for 11 hours LOL! Once that downpour hit, I was about done for the afternoon.
The Lee Burridge boat party was my favorite of the conference. It was a beautiful day, the music was top notch, the drinks were free and flowin fast, and the crowd had a vibe unmatched anywhere else in Miami. I was just drunk enough to drop my shorts so the S&D boat party could see the sun reflecting off my ass. :gsmile:
The best string of music for me came on the terrace at Space Thursday night with Viva vs. Cadenza. Livio & Roby played a great techno set, followed by 3 hours of Lawler ripping the place to shreds. Then Luciano stepped it up once more for 2 more hours. I was spent after that and headed back to SoBe.
I was extremely pleased with Marco Carola's and Adam Beyer's sets @ the Beatport party on Saturday. As I mentioned before, Ida Engberg was just awesome at Sunday School. Beyer was hanging out on stage with her and I could tell that even he was floored (in more ways than one :crazy: ) as well. I wish I could have held out longer for Carola's set toward the end of SSFD.

You're right, I didn't really comment on One+One. Zabs fuking rocked! He was using a couple of interesting midi controllers and he held them up at different points during his set to show the crowd what he was doing with them. His set was really good overall. Fanciulli was also very good, but Zabs was better. Their hour-long tag-team set at the end was sick though!
Natalie and I bought a point and shoot camera for the trip instead of lugging around the dSLR. It's the new Sony W series that takes HD video and has a 5x zoom with a Zeiss lens. $250 well spent! We'll post pics tonight.

I just got back to work today and , I don't feel like doing . :( I'm kinda sad WMC is over. Oh well, back to reality.
My favorite parties were the SANDER K Boat Party & the PVD @ Space Party.
My worse party has to be Super You & Me. A-Track & Diplo killed my vibe by playing hip hop. WTF? This party had no vibe. But Luke redeemed himself the next day at the Beatport Pool Party.
My biggest regret has to be not going to M-Nus. :( I regret that big time.
It was awesome seeing so many LA TA's everywhere. You know who you are.
I went to most parties alone, but I saw so many familiar faces & I met new ones that I didn't matter if I went alone. Heck, I even parties with my friends from Mexico at the Sander K Party. That was a big shocker. I did not expect to see them at WMC at all.
Pizza Rustica & Puerto Sagua were kinda weak for me this year. I didn't enjoy them as much. Actually, my pizza was pretty nasty tasting. The best food I had this year had to be at BONGO's. That's Gloria Stefan's restaurant. FOOD & DRINKS ARE BOMB!!! And it's pretty cheap too.
Can't wait til next year. In the mean time, here's some videos I took.
