but Im there

edit:
oops, this is probably the same as VOLATL
You should take Tim & Camea off the TBA list for 5/23... that would be the Clink portion of the VOLATL party

Also, cost for House-n-Home is $20

It is Clink vs Hello? Repeat! on the 23rd
lücid
events list needs more Vincenzo and Move D. :gsmile:

I'd love to see Cassy and Eric but you can count me out of this one. The heat there is unbearable. It ruined my night last time.

It's in a basement, and the only ventilation (no hyperbole here) is two tiny vents, about a square foot in size each, over the bar area.
Mind you, the bar area is divided from the booth/dancefloor area by a big solid wall. When I was there last year, they also only had sound in the dancefloor area. So if you wanted to hear the music at all you had to brave the 110 degree heat.
I can't deal with that kind of BS. It really should be illegal to hold events in environments like that.

I completly agree. I left early and had no fun because it was so hot. I was really looking forward to that party last year too. I wouldn't go there again.

What's your issue with the St. Regis?? It's a great hotel, in a great area. I'd love to hear your reasons. Thanks!

I have an idea. Let's make a separate thread for this topic. Oh wait, there already is one. Thanks.

my first demf, and there's wild amounts of talent all over the place. Does everyone bounce from afterparty to afterparty, find a 9-5 party (the other 9-5...)

what goes on?

its a little bit a both. the only issue your going to have is capacity and lines so if you want to bounce around that may be an issue. sometimes its better to stick with what you got and other times its not.

I'd say bouncing around is mainly an issue because transportation in Detroit isn't so great.
Unless you have a car, getting a cab might be problematic unless the places you are going between are right in the immediate downtown area.
I'd stick to one party a night, and then if you go someplace else, an afterhours, not a party during the same time.
