I never actually was able to see deep dish together .. I always missed out on them.
But last month in febuary I went to the Telus Theatre (Montreal) to see Dubfire. He rocked it from 1:30 AM to 3AM .. it was weird .. simply an hour and a half but it was well worth it. His beats were solid and well structured, I really enjoyed going there.
If you listen carefully to the WMC mixes from 2008 and 2009 from deep dish together, you may reconise who mixes at what time and when they swap, it's really amazing.

All time fave dish moment was in MTL @ Stereo with ryan, ali and nada.
Dubfire was in the booth, Sharam came to join him... and as "I found you" started playing, a bight light was cast behind them, they raised their hands in the air, and made hand puppet silhouettes of birds flying...
such a surreal moment.

Everyone always talks about their compilations (which are amazing in their own right...The Yoshiesque's or Renaissance Ibiza haven't even been mentioned yet) but nobody has mentioned anything about how many amazing and influential tracks they have produced in their day....their back catalog is mind-blowing. All of their best stuff was done in the late 90's early 2000's imo.
Hands down my favourite all time edm track.
