oil industry jobs.

ive been searching around for jobs in the oil industry here in Canada-->Alberta. im finding it very hard to find solid online links and poc numbers.
i know that there are the usual suspects in the biz, ie. imperial oil, that are hiring, but its getting into that system (or those systems) that im having difficulties with.
is there a thread that has touched on this at all? or does anyone know of any helpful links/poc numbers?
any and all help would be greatly appreciated. |

i want to do field work. so:
driller (any) or
jug hound (geophone) or
slasher.
i do have experience with chainsaws, worked as an arborist in BC for a short time.
interms of other education, i have none. would that bar me from anything? |
