K, Calisto and all the others boys. i can tell you a little bit about those parties as i see you don't really have a lot of clue :)
first of all shimon 'FFF' shirazi runs gay friendly nights for more then 3-4 years now, since the historical ALENBY 58.
the FFF stands for Friday Freedom Friendly. and its target ar gays form both genders. not just lesbian, there are a lot of drug queens there so Calisto might have thought she saw only lesbians. anyhow, there are a lot of lesbians, a lot of male-gays and a also straight.
the best thing in those parties is that the crowd creates an amazing atmosphere !! dont ask my why, but they just do.
i think everyone have to attend one of those parties atleast once in his lifetime and see the HUGE difference between these and teen/TLV-thurseday/Next parties.
don't tihnk that you'll come and have threesome with lesbians or something, they really don't give a about straight. but they really add a lot to the atmosphere as i already mentioned. and this is why i find it amazing.
if you don't like NEW-YORK-HOUSE/TWISTED-HOUSE/PROGRESSIVE-HOUSE/FUNKY-HOUSE don't come near those parties. youll just get the impression those nights are bad which is not.

the party I was at on Friday was a party in Green Room, and that part of the party was only for girls, and no boy could enter, (but those who were in Green Room could pass to the main hall). That party was organized by Ilana Shirazi and it was only once. And I really agree with you about FFF line, it's great!
