what an awsome night!!:eyes: It was definitely one of the best parties I’ve attended :)
Finally got the opportunity to meet so many TAs. It was a pleasure partying with you all (DJ MG, Blue_Neon, Firestarter, Waxen, Articboy<--good luck with ur job in the States bro! and hope to see u again soon, Sarcoman, TranceEcstacy, Evmac, Bliss’n’Trance and his bro, TranceArmada, Infinity High, Stylez and hats down for the real Tranceaddicts Starfox and Ruby Riva who drove up all the way from US the same day after having attended a few other parties. can't believe you guys drove back home right after Armin’s set. There were TONS more that I met. Sorry I did not get your names...also not to forget Swamper :) hope you had a wonderful B-Day).
Wow!! :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: Armin’s set was simply in amazing last night. Its not too often that a DJ can keep me going the entire night on just a few drinks. I’ve never danced so hard like I did last night. Not too much anthems and a lot of harder tunes this time. His track selection and mixing were just perfect and did not slow me down one bit:) It seemed like there were a lot of Armin fans there to party this time (its surprising to see the Guv still packed after 7. Usually the club is pretty cleared up by this time) One of the definite highlights of the night for me was when System F- Chakra Love Will Shine Through was put on. Yeah!!:toothless:toothless a classic tune but I’ve not heard it in ages. The words were still ringing in my head when I got up this afternoon:D:D:)hahahaha!
There couldn’t be a better way to end a perfect party by meeting the man himself at the end. Got a signed postcard from Armin :) This man is amazing!! and an inspiration to me!
looking forward to partying more with you TAs.

The bad:
- Still too a little crowded, but not much you can do when it's a club environment, so I shouldn't be surprised. Maybe I should consider giving the fire department a call and letting them do a head count. Guvernment sure likes to let as many people in as possible.
- Way too HOT and HUMID!!! :mad: I almost couldn't breathe in there, and I was feeling sick because of it.
- Armin came on pretty late and by that time I was getting exhausted.
- $4 for water is complete and utter bull.
The good:
- Hearing some familiar tracks like:
"Binary Finary - 1998?"
"Solar stone - seven cities"
"Tillman Uhrmacher - On The Run (Ocean to the Shore Club Version)"
"Minimalistix - Close cover"
can't remember the others
- my friends having a better time than me.
left at around 3:30, had a headache and said this , I'm out. |

The Set was amazing. This was the first time I ever got to meet any TA and it was really nice to meet you all. Sorry If I forgot your names especially tall-guy I was talking to for quite a bit. (PM me plz) Anyhow I had a lot of fun even though I ran out of energy around 4 AM since I have not done such a long session into the morning since Germany/Holland '95.
I do agree that Guv charges ridiculous prices for their beverages and 3 bucks for a ing freezy??????????!!!!!!!! Ventilation was bad but I've been in worse.
I too got pissed off at around 2:15 and also started Chanting "ARMIN ARMIN ARMIN" but he shortly arrived after that and laid it down. This was the first time I ever seen him or heard his set. He was amazing. Loved the Pogressive he was playing!!!! Just totally Amazing!!!!! All around I give this Event a 8.2/10 due to the Guv's hyper Pricing and poor air conditioning. But Armin was great and I will definately see him spin again.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR TAUCHER!!!!!! (Hopefully everyone can pronounce his name rite though ;)....)jk |

and uhh yea, did anyone else notice the sound at guv was louder than usual this time than any other time? ouch, this was the first time that my ears were painfully hurting hours after exiting the club... :mad: |

Not only that, but the high frequency sound was too high...did any one else's ears die during Southern Sun?
Oh, and it was Sunburn, not Sunspot...unless he playd Sunspot after I left, which was about 5:15. |

heh been two days and i just have the courage right now to type my review :tongue3
wat can i say? its been the 3rd time ive seen Armin live, and definately this time around, he was much better than his april performance. i still think that his State 01 set was just pure class, anyhow thats not important. Mark Oliver was just simply FANTASTIC that night, started off with chill-out beats, then progressed into some more tribal beats with nasty dirty sounds, and started spinning trance. thats wat i found amazing from Mark that night, each song had a completely different beat, and each beat in the songs was getting faster, and deeper. i dont know why people complain about Mark, but its good to have a talented dj like him in toronto, because at least he's one of the famous dj's from canada, thats know to other countries :)
Armin's set was sick too :) Seven Citiest his remix is just amazing live, also he played some progressive tracks straight from the beginning. mecha and me found one of the tracks that he played Digital Mind Control - Mindstake :D :D this track was definately one of the best Armin played the whole night. yes i noticed that during his set the frequencies of the sound system were WAY TOO HIGH and i forget wat song it was, neitherless it doesn't matter.
its been great seeing the usual TA's :) great partying with infinity_HIGH, DJ MG, Waxen, Fir3start3r, Endlesswave, Stylez, Swamper (hope u had a nice B-Day man :)), and SAGE2635 (im sorry, was it you the short chinese guy? thnx for the "RE-freshment's" bro, your a really safe guy :))...also how can i forget my POLISH Presents that was representing that night :D TranceXtasy, Cloud_9, Bliss'n'Trance :D

Man I personally think AVB spun a lot of tracks at the beginning of his set from GU022 - Dave Seamn, listen to the cd and you will remember more than one track during AVB set.

WTF!!! who cares, i cant believe how many people post about cracked out asians, SO WHAT, they take drugs, a lot of people take drugs. MOST people at the guvernment that night were on drugs watching armin (goofy boy kicked ass). its really annoying reading all your dorky reviews about people on drugs, just cuz you dont take pills, speed, etc...why cant other people party they way they want to w/o you hating on them. maybe you all should start posting about dorky, 12yr old looking polish kids with pads of paper writing down all the songs the dj spins. its not skool, you dont gotta take notes :eyes: do sum drugs, maybe you would actually have fun instead of paying attention to every person thats "on 5 drugs or sumthing" ... those people are probly having a lot more fun than you...grow up! |

and believe buddy, i partied with drugs and without drugs...and everytime i party without drugs, i have a really wonderful time so dont give me lectures about partying ;)
