ok- I'm late posting, but I've been busy.
It was good to see so many TA's out that nite.This was my 1st time back to the Guv on a Sat. nite since Ferry, & I actually survived the night without a panic attack. Was surprised to see he started so late, & by the time he got on I was so tired. Lasted til 5:30am tho. Was really glad to hear a majority of new tracks being played, with some great classics thrown in. The 1 song I wanted to hear him play (which he did) was the song of the week (I think?) on Ministry of Sound, just b4 they broadcast his set on Fri. I believe it's called "Circa Forever" by Rapid Eye. (If I'm way off with the title, someone correct me please. My computer doesn't like the MoS site for me to check on my own). He also played Picotto's "Back to Cali" when I was leaving, tho it wasn't a mix I cared for. I thought he played good tracks, but often it seemed like they didn't 'flow' together as perfectly as they should, but the energy was there regardless. As for the comments on AVB's mannerisms in the booth- I have to say I found it very reminiscent (if not identicle) of Tiesto!
This will be the last post I make..... while I'm 30. Tomorrow I turn 31. With Arcticboy leaving us in just over a week to move to Hartford, Connecticut, I will be left alone as the oldest person on this thread. :( I'm going to sleep now- it's bedtie for us old fogeys. (kidding- I've just been up since yesterday). Laterz! |

| All I have to say is that my girlfriend and I had one of the best nights ever. I posted my pics up at www.detroitclubscene.com :) It was a pleasure meeting you Dell and hopefully we'll get to hang out again. Hopefully some of you guys will be able to make the trip down here to Detroit and Motor for Mark's set on July 3rd!! |

Hello!
I had a very nice night. I met Swamper, Blue Neon, DJ MG, Infinity High, TrancEArmada, hmm, firestarter, also, a blondeguy who I didn`t get his name.. hmm..
The Guvernment is really nice. I think Armin BLEW the bass way to high something I kinda did not like. I loved the lasers in there, pretty cool!
Armin set was good overall. I might not have enjoyed it more cause I guess 2 nights seeing PvD straight killed the vibe on me :P and I also was extremly beat.
I will return to Toronto tho, and I hope Paul plays there when I am there.

That party was just awesome! Seeing all the reg TA's again (Dg MG, Waxen, Blue neon, Infinityhigh and Swamper! Happy Belated BDay man) was just tons of fun. Meeting Arturo and Rubyriva was also really cool. Seeing Fox go berserk to Sunburn was cool. :) I was dead tired near the end though, had I not gotten sick that exact night I would have had a better time, but it was still really really good. One complaint though...it's like a freaking SAUNA in the place! Guv is hot as hell in there!:mad: They should put moreeeeeeee fans. I'm debating what party to hit up next, hmmmmmmm. We'll see...;)

Holy man! wtf...what's with the negativity? First of all have you ever BEEN to a gino club? Doesn't seem like it. I have a brother that's 100% gino and I laugh my ass off at him and he wouldn't be caught dead @ Guv. He usually goes to Plastique, Palazzo, Money, Helum etc. I have been to some of those types of clubs before and sure the music is total garbage but I'll go anywhere. Stop insulting unless you KNOW what you're saying. Guv is NOT a gino club! Gino's listen to freestyle, euro, top 40, reggae and r&b. Well most that I know do. It's not even about that. You remind me exactly of my brother about how he looks at the trance that I love so much and the parties I hit up, except from the opposite spectrum. You are both saying the same thing from differing sides. Stop with the hate man...if you don't like it, don't go. Simple. |

That was a good night but it was way too packed...It really ruins it no matter how good the music is. There's nothing fun about constantly rubbing against sweaty, shirtless ginos but for free admission I'll put up with it. The patio was the ultimate escape.
I noticed there was less trance anthems this time around which was different that what I've been used to hearing from Armin the last couple of times but it was good. Mark Oliver played an
amazing set and really got the crowd ready...I was quite
impressed.
A track I didn't expect to hear: Dallas 4pm. haven't heard that one in a while..
I'd have to say that was the biggest TA meetup I'd ever been to...the Acid Lounge was packed with TAs! Hope to see everyone out at Oakenfold...
Wurm: Nice talking with you...hope you & your crew had a good time and didn't let any of the negative aspects of the guvernment ruin your night.
Articboy: sucks that you're leaving dude...I'm sure you'll be drawn back whenever there's a big party.
For anyone complaining about the DJ having a good time (or "looking like a dork"): Get real. Who wouldn't be happy playing for a pumped-up crowd of 3000+ and getting paid for it. AVB, like a lot of other DJs enjoy this - get used to it.
Hope he's back sometime soon. |

Awesome awesome night. I had a great time. Met a lot of TA's after a long time. Nice to meet some old TA friends whom I first started partying with from this Group.......Bliss'n'Trance, Cloud9, TranceXtasy, Arcticboy....................Time2Burn, DJ MG, Waxen, Sarcoman and lots others whom names I cant remember right now.
Yea Dallas 4pm was such a surprise. I was like Wow. Overall amazing set. His set was definitely much better than his last appearance. Ended off the night by meeting Armin and Mark :)
Leaving Canada for 3 months. Its been great partying with a lot of you this year. See ya guys in September. |

hehe... I forgot I almost died when I heard Sunburn comming. I in love that track and over phazon. simply Amazing. I was really tired though. I would have had much more fun if I hadn`t partied out the 2 nights before heh. Next Time.
