The dark tech house brainchild from KiloWatts and Tanner Ross' minds, this long-awaited long player finally sees a release. Beatport provides instant gratification but should also be available on CD/triple pack vinyl in the usual places: http://www.mothershipmusic.com/paranormal
Fully instrumental with an eerie downtempo intro as well as a downtempo bridge in the middle to offset the tech/house (at times dark and banging, other times groovy and quirky with a touch of creepiness).

Been playing Bones and Skeleton Key for quite some time now. Just a Spoonful is AWESOME. Big ups to tanner and hopefully this album gets the attention it deserves :)

what kind of genre is metaphysical?

It was more of a play on the paranormal ghostly theme present on the album...failed attempt at being clever (but it made you look!). :)
Yeah...been waiting for "Just A Spoonful" to be released digitally for a while. This is great news! :)
Seppuku
Actually a decent sounding album...might pick this up.

Good taste, chief. :D Wow (and Jody in particular) along with Voodeux (KiloWatts in particular for me ;))
It's too bad the thread title edit ("OUT NOW") isn't showing up so as to alert a few others who might be unaware of the album's release.

"Just a Spoonful" is doing quite well in the Beatport tech house chart, snapping at the heels of the top 20...nice to see a quality groove get recognition. It's too bad the rest of the album isn't faring as well (with the exception of the downtempo tracks appearing in the "electronica" chart and "Enter the Voo" appearing at the bottom of the techno chart).
It seems this parceled out digital landscape encourages buying in a piecemeal fashion instead of getting the full package as the artist intended. I suppose that's a good reason that the CD is being made available separately for us traditionalists. :)
BTW, here's a "cheeky" interview revealing the "studio." ;)
