| 20 yrs old and still can't drive without a license holder in the car with me. Is that bad? On the other hand I live in NYC, so driving isn't all that necessary and parking sucks. |

| yea there's really no point if you live in NY. i wouldn't worry about it... unless you need a car outside of the city or go on a lot of trips where you have to drive. |

I never got my license untill i was 18.
When i lived here in the u.s., i got my permit. Then we moved when i was 16 to el salvador, they saw that i had a permit and thought it was a license. So they gave me a pimp government license. Then when i came here at 18, i had to take the stupid driving test for the first time. I was so nervous even though i had been driving for 2 years. |

| That's pretty odd, over here at 17 everyone was already driving and had their own cars (bar me). It's really a matter of convenience though, i've never had to drive anywhere far by myself and 99% someone else in my group of friends actually likes to drive. |

| I got my NY drivers license when I was 17 since my mom forced me to get a drivers license, but never used it until I was 24 when I had to travel for business. |

| i've been driving since i was 13. used to steal my mom's car with my girlfriend and go joyriding. god i was so ballsy but i just knew how to drive for some reason and couldn't wait to get my license. it was the most important thing to me. i got it on a military base in japan when i was 15/16 and everything was obviously different over there...but then i came back to florida my senior year and i studied and thought i had to take the whole driving test here, but they just made me take an eye exam:wtf: i remember the lady asking me, "oh is it the same over there?" and i was like, "uh yea" and she was like, "yea ok you just need to take ane eye exam" i was like sweet:cool: |
