I would say you're a little too old to file bankruptcy to be honest. It'll affect you for seven years minimum and will hang over your head until you get allot of capital in your corner.I'd say write a hardship letter to your creditors and see if you can consolidate your debt into 4-5 monthly payments.I'd say pay online as well,$24 fee for payment is steep.....Lets hope the rules of credit engagement are change in the coming months because none should be charged to pay bills.

Get a ing job and for gods sake don't have kids!Oh and if you can get consignment then get it because you're interest rates are climbing with each passing pay period.

Good luck

i know alot of twenty somethings that are financially dependable of their parents; i'd say it's a matter of perspective, some say it's bad, and some don't care. I just think that as long as you have money, no matter how or why, if you have it...that's all that matters
Silky Johnson
It isn't the fact that he's dependent on his parents, it's that he has no ing idea how to become self sufficient. That's pretty pathetic. I know a lot of dependent 20-something's as well...but their parents have at least equipped them with the life skills to know where to ing start.

Hungry for dick but only got $1001 in your account, too ing bad. As long as you have your cushion in the bank, AND a job, you'll be "ok." You won't be "great", but Aunt Jemima didn't get her claim to fame in 6 months either. In fact, if I recall correctly, Aunt Jemima died a horrible death underneath 2 tractor trailers and it wasn't until she died, that Aunt Jemima Syrup turned a profit.

:stongue:

Yeah, not a good idea to file for bankruptcy. The cons outweigh the benefits. You'll never be able to loan for anything unless you've got some assets. =/

stop thinking about moving out unless there's a specific reason you need to (dangerous environment, job elsewhere, school, etc.). There's no point in spending money on moving out just so that you can move out at a point where you currently don't have a job and have zero savings (at least while you're relatively young; if you're 35 and live at home, yes, move out to move out).

there's a hell of a lot more expense in living on your own than you probably even realize. If you want to be more responsible about it, offer to pay your parents some form of rent/contribution. They'll appreciate it, you'll save money, and you won't be so dependent (of course, this would be after you manage to pay for the rest of your own stuff).

Not possible. More likely, you're either just lying or you're trying to get jobs you're not qualified for and aren't willing to do something you think you're too good for (manual labor, retail, etc.).

p.s. if you're joking, w/e. someone else can use the advice.

Yeah, I used to think that way too...but the truth is that the majority of homeless people suffer from mental illness, and that sucks.

Even so, I'm sure there's a job out there that they're capable of doing :whip:
Silky Johnson
It's not that easy. There's a lot that you clearly don't understand about mental illness. :p

Cause that's nothing but anger, right there, Champ. Can I assume that it's anger that's also responsible for your empathy deficit or are you just retarded in your frontal lobe?

Yes, yes, and yes.

performing a task is only half of having a job.

that said, I have no sympathy for most of them. Some, sure, but a lot of them (a lot more in cities than elsewhere) could avoid it.
Silky Johnson
Really? Schizophrenics and bipolar people can avoid it? What about the extremely depressed? You think they can avoid it?

Take some meds, right? Who do you think pays for those meds? Do you think they're cheap?
