I was friends with a guy at boarding school who learned on a Ferrari 355! His brother (a couple of years older than him) worked their way through cars like nobody's business. In his first year of driving he had a BMW M5, Mercedes CL600, a Mercedes S55 AMG, the aforementioned 355 and a few Porsches. Pretty much any desirable car, they'd had or owned it! They didn't total them, they'd just have them for a few months get bored and sell it. I mean, if you're going to drive high end performance cars from day 1 what's the point in learning in a Kia Rio?

I do agree with you though. They don't understand what it is like to have a car that they can't depend on. Or put all kinds of money into and it still doesn't run that well. |
