It sucks that AG is dead, but get over it, there will be other things. I think DC++ is a good idea, but, too many people could leech from it. I think some one with a large chunk of bandwidth should set up and ftp. TA's are given logins and passwords, and put on a ratio to stop people from just leeching all the time.
One FTP though probably isnt enough. We would need one fast ftp, then a group of smaller ones, to cater for all the users. The smaller ftps only have access to the fast ftp, so they can get new tunes quick, and the users have access to the smaller ftps.
Thats just an idea, and people may not have the bandwidth spare for it. I would volunteer, but im on a 56k in au :) We should discuss this over some other medium but to make sure TA is safe. |
