That's like Tiger Woods becoming the best golfer and saying, "ah it, no reason to get my name out there with all these offers, I'd rather be a nobody and make about 1% of what I know I COULD make."

Yeah.... but Buick??? C'mon...

think about who watches golf. prior to the implosion of GM, buick was probably one of the largest advertisers for golfing events.

Nobody that knows him has one bad thing to say about him. But some random fat bulldyke thinks he's an arrogant douchebag because he said yes to putting his face on a video game, the nerve of that fuker!

This is complete truth. Armin is definitely intelligent and great at marketing, but the one thing that is true is that he is not arrogant, whether he is "selling out" or not.

Regardless anyone likes him or likes what he plays, I'll vouch for him in that he's concerned about his fans because he (or at least SOMEONE does if not him anymore) reads all his emails. He's played two Armin tracks at two events that probably wouldn't normally be on his playlist for that particular year (AvB love you more) and has given a radio shoutout for me in one of his ASOTs as well.

Regardless of how ty of a product he might endorse or how much someone else may dislike the music he produces and/or plays, he has a lot of loyal fans that respect him for being loyal to his fans.

Say what you want but the people behind Guitar Hear games are coming out with bull%hit called DJ Hero so this was bound to happen either way

OK, half the people seem to be extremely confused about something. This isnt about turning down $ from the game. This is about drawing a line. That knee grow is already rich, and if he's going to make a nintendo game it wont ing kill him to cut his profits on that a little bit by not choosing all cheesy armada garbage tracks for it (which im sure he's planning to do). Instead he could chose some amazing tunes with a little depth to them that he used to play even 1-2 years back.

Big name DJs dont have to try. Whatever theyll play will sell. As a consequence they play mainly music they will make profit from. If you haven't noticed how much worse new ASOT episodes are compared to 2007 for example, please just look at any random tracklist of asot 2007 and think about the tunes.

This thread is dissapointing and is what is killing EDM in the US. :conf:

Even if the game were to suck, it will introduce Trance to more people in the US.
