Aw man. Legos were one of the reasons being the youngest kid was awesome. My older sister wasn't too into them, but my half sister (bout 12 years older than me) loved em as a kid, so my parents kept them around for me, and they were from back when there was no kit to make anything, there was just a metric ton of bricks. Imagine a tupperware container about 3 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet, the big storage ones. We had about 3 of those filled with random bricks and then some, plus the kits they got me. Plus like flat squares with various road shapes on them so you could make a town and , and some that were the moon and had little craters. All my towns bordered the moon :p

Loved them!!!
I used to build little artillery pieces using rubber bands... I even built ones attached to planes I'd build.
My little brother and our neighbor were way more into Playmobil (which is also awesome) and I'd fly my jet in there and shoot their nicely set up western towns or pirate camps... :p

Ha ha. Those clips just reminded me of how we did stop-motion Lego videos in school. I think I was about 14 at the time. God it was fun.
Our video was about a superhero called "James Bong" from the town of Huyimsaydencaniholdefraten (I can't believe I remember that) and his efforts to diffuse a bomb on a boat or something.

I always liked following the instructions and putting the whole model together, but then taking it apart later to use the pieces in my own creations.
Legos were the . I wonder if my parents still have mine...

I was more a fan of the early Technic series than the space / jungle / pirate series'.

I was always building cars. I had this plan to build one that was big enough to seat myself, only to find out there weren't nearly enough pieces in my collection after finishing the first headlight or so.
This one looks like the dino is eating the lady nom nom.

Impressive. Most impressive.

ing sick, that must take a lot of time. I wonder if he plans out where all the blocks are gonna go before he builds them, or if he just wings it every time?
