DAVE CORTEX (Sweet Cherry Music | Witty Tunes | System Recordings)
A highly accomplished DJ, producer, and promoter, it is no wonder that Dave Cortex has made a permanent mark in the Washington D.C. area. DJing since 1999, Dave has headlined some of the city's largest nightclubs over the years, and has also been invited to play gigs all throughout the US in cities such as New York, San Francisco, Miami, Philadelphia and more. In the past few years, Dave's sound has received international recognition via his original productions and remixes. Always straddling the genre lines of house music, his music has received far-reaching support from a diverse range of artists including Jaytech, Sultan, DJ Dan, Add2Basket, Bush II Bush, Pole Folder, Donald Glaude, DJ Kue, Wize, Mike Balance, The Flash Brothers and many others. In addition to his own label Sweet Cherry Music, Dave is signed to several other respected labels including System Recordings, Witty Tunes, Itch Recordings, Brandnewvibe, and others. Although Dave is most well-known for his studio skills, he is first and foremost a DJ, and his live sets are not to be missed. Continually focusing on his DJ sets, Dave has won or placed highly in several area DJ contests, including winning the 2004 Golden Vinyl Award for Best House DJ, winning Buzzlife's 2005 NYE DJ contest, and reaching the finals of the Scion Battle of the DJ's in 2006. |

| awesome stuff Jake. Congrats. I'll be at Pacha that night for Jason/Keryn/Dani, but kill it! |

| Congrats, I will probably be there, now that I found out that Mike Koglin is flying in the next day. |

| Thanks, Zack -- I was disappointed to see that our schedules conflicted that night. The last time Jason and the Core guys took over Pacha, it was a blast. I will, however, undoubtedly be in attendance the following night (May 30) at the Mid-Atlantic Trance event, so looking forward to catching your set there! |

Thanks Chris -- Based on the initial feedback, it seems that the Audible Remix is the standout on the package. |
