I went to check out the newly renovated and relocated parking yesterday

Sound : amazing ... Shakers under your feet to feel the bass more

Layout : probably the best in town ... Perfect use of space / giant dancefloor / amazing circulation all around

Dj booth : incredible ... Sooooo big

Materials : very nice materials used for the bar ... I really like the floor too

Many many many great nights ahead

Ive rarely been so impressed with a club

This one blew me away

Great work parking

Its about time montreal gets a brand new quality venue :-)

guess i'll go check it out when i have the chance :)

That sounds unreal, I'm thinking of checking it out before heading to Circus tonight.

From what I understand though, it's a gay club... So on a night like tonight where Alex Gaudino is playing, is it a mixed crowd, or mostly gays?

Thanks.

yeah i am going to have to check this place out, i spent way too much time at groove society and am curious to see what they did with the place. Montreal deffo needs more good clubs:)

philou, there is no men only nights anymore, but if you don't like gays you probably don't want to go.

gonna have to go check it out for sure.

Gotcha. Just FTR, I don't don't like gays, I even have a few gay friends.

That being said, being on a dancefloor with guys who try to dance with me isn't really my definition of a good time.

Maybe I'm being narrow-minded? I dunno.

the old groove society on amherst.

and philou, gay guys do not usually hassle straight men:)

if you wear chaps and take off your shirt maybe, but usually their gaydar is effective:p

On a Friday/Sat/Sun, it is mostly gay. Thursdays are mixed. So if you go on a Thursday, the gaydar is effective and the number of guys hitting on you will be minimal. Last time I went, there was only one guy who tried to dance with me. A simple "sorry", or "no", and he went away.

Of course, on a Fri/Sat/Sun, the gaydar may be a little less effective, cause those are more "gay" nights. But, as elfreak said, if you don't "act gay", or if you simply dismiss them politely, you'll have fun.

Plus, don't forget thatt gay guys are less insistant than heterosexual drunken guys hitting on women

Ok, thanks for the clarification!

84th Ave.
just curious, on "mixed" thurs nights, is there alot of girls...girls who are straight?

just wondering
elFreak
i have a feeling they are trying to get more straight customers on weekends julien.

not that i want to stereotype, but an urban room does not sound like a marketing tool to attract a gay crowd.
